That's a great deal. Dudley is a servicable starter and you're paying him 10 mil a year. In the new cash era, 10 mil is the cheap end for starters. Very cheap end

Jared Dudley is alright. It might be a little pricey, but its not out of whack.

He plays above average defense and can hit the open 3 pointers.

He was probably worth 8-10 million. That is the going rate for a "3 and D" forward semi-starter.

Only his age (31) makes it somewhat questionable for a team trying to rebuild in Phoenix.

Folks. Four yrs ago, the cap was $58M. Next year, it’ll be $108M: close to double (TV $). 35% of 58 doesn’t sound as bad. This is just math.
