Probably as much as Biyombo's 26 rebounds in the playoffs impresses you.

We have all :deadhorse: on this topic.

I freely admit it's not as bad as I first thought.

But I'd still rather have Biyombo.

I'd rather have Mahinmi cheaper than either, but maybe he gets paid big like everyone else.

Maybe for the Cavs, but not in general.
You see things through rose homer eyes.
He's got 1 skillset, but its something the Cavs desperately need.

Lets see what happens with Delly and how the roster plays out.
rebounding? desperately needed? we have the best SF rebounder in the league- Love is one of the best rebounders in the league- Mozgov just got 65 million dollars.

Thompson is one best- if not the best at what he does- and is one of the most needed/valuable assets out there---a big who can move from teh 4 and 5 effecitvely- but also play ABSOLUTELY ELITE pick and roll defense for a big man--- an absolutely ace offensive rebounder,

Thompson is awesome- and hes a champ- and hes coming off 2 straight years of averaging a double double in the Finals while shooting his ass off and drawing more holding fouls by himself then some entire teams do.

he will continue to be one of the very best weapons against small lineups in all of the NBA.

Got a possible replacement as a 2nd round steal, Deyonta Davis.

I will take him a few years though...

What so s their cap look like now?

Are they completely out of the Gasol race after Parsons?

Eh, if they let Conley go, they have a chance. But they can't fit Conley, Parsons, and Durant with the cap room they have.

Memphis Grizzlies Team Salary | Basketball Insiders | NBA Rumors And Basketball News

And yeah, Deyonta Davis should be a good one for him. Also, didn't realize that Randolph was only going to make $10 mil this season. He stays healthy, that's a great bargain now.
As I said, I'm trying hard to justify this signing.

Hey man, I said I was beyond sorry for that signing. :suds:

And Wade is another year older.

True.
But with all the others, you hope Wade can take a step back.
We have some youth and both draft picks also next year.

Im not saying it HAS to happen, but eventually someone elite has to come East.

If that happens, the Heat is always in play.

Reference Wiggy's post where the Warriors essentially didn't cover him. But yeah, get on me for picking out Biyombo's limited sampling size of 2 playoff series to one playoff game for Mozgov.

Biyombo had a lot of unimpressive totals in those series as well.

Regardless, horse is dead, I'm done with this.

On to other ridiculous contracts....(Turner, Fournier)

Wade wont go for 14mil. But Whiteside is a little negotiable he said if we can get Durant. Lets assume Wade wont budge from 20. Whiteside might come down some. and maybe Durant takes less knowing there isnt the state tax so it could even out.

Still dont think he comes to Miami tho..

Is Bosh able to renegotiate his contract if he wanted to take less?

And he just came off one of his most productive seasons in years. What's your point?

That if he's going to leave OKC, he has better options.

Kobe had a monster year in 2012-2013. Then age killed him. Wade is getting up there in age and mileage.

Okay, Did the Blazers panic?

Why not give that money to Crabbe?

Yeah but Wade doesn't have nearly as much mileage as Kobe did. Remember Wade been injured a lot. Kobe did not start getting hurt until 2013.

The difference between winning or losing this argument today with you really came down to 2 minutes of ball that Tristan wasn't even part of.
Cavs won, so whatever, I'm not saying you're wrong.

Thing is, I've seen James win twice with the likes of Anthony, Haslem, and the others I named yesterday.

It just is what it is.

BTW with the money going out today, why the hell did Al Jefferson just sign a 3 yr/30 mill deal? I feel like he could have made another 15 mill

Probably wanted the right fit & he knows he missed a lot of games last year.
