Hey, where are you guys hearing that Mozgov's 3rd year is a team opt out? Because if so, that's makes a pretty big difference in how I would view the trade

You could've put anyone in at center and they probably would've put up the same stats. Lebron was practically the only offensive option. Lakers made a bad signing.
most of those points in the Finals for Mozgov were in one game where he scored almost 30 when the Warriors decided not to guard him and said if Mozgov wants to score 50 he can - we wont lose..lol...im not even joking.

where does the line start for peoples plates of crow for Tristan Thompson? LOL

dude is a STEAL

Maybe for the Cavs, but not in general.
You see things through rose homer eyes.
He's got 1 skillset, but its something the Cavs desperately need.

Lets see what happens with Delly and how the roster plays out.

i have not seen either way. It would be odd to have a 4 year deal with team opt outs in the 3rd and 4th year...usually the last year has a team opt out- and the 3rd is usually mutual or something like that. we shall see on the 7th i guess.

Ah, the 'I'll go ahead and look purely at stats rather than look at the situation' argument.

So 28 and 10 in a Finals game doesn't impress you at all? Or were you still clouded by Lebron lust that you can't acknowledge other contributors?

when you say Whiteside would prove his worth, do you mean the judge will set his bail by the time next year comes around?

Say what you want, but he made HISTORY today.
ONLY player EVER to go from a minimum to a max in 1 year.

I'm sure they'll keep Conley. Just a question now of how they fill out the bench and if Randolph can stay healthy.

Got a possible replacement as a 2nd round steal, Deyonta Davis.

I will take him a few years though...

What so s their cap look like now?

Are they completely out of the Gasol race after Parsons?

Well, his contract doesn't look so bad now compared to what everyone else is getting. I have hope in his continued development. Worse case scenario, Heat have a young trade asset available now.

one skill set?

defense- switching the p n r, rebounding, the best offensive rebounder in the league- and please- did u watch the Cavs? he absolutely has been developing as a finisher in the pick and roll- whether its lebrons expert passes- or the delly/ki alley oops....

not too mention ELITE durability and intangibles.

once again - time vindicates.

told you Whiteside would be back.

OK, his perimeter D was good, Ill concede that.

Still, without James, he's just nothing special, at all.

Sorry.

Probably as much as Biyombo's 26 rebounds in the playoffs impresses you.

We have all :deadhorse: on this topic.

I freely admit it's not as bad as I first thought.

But I'd still rather have Biyombo.

Reference Wiggy's post where the Warriors essentially didn't cover him. But yeah, get on me for picking out Biyombo's limited sampling size of 2 playoff series to one playoff game for Mozgov.

Clarkson is just as good as Fournier and we got him a lot cheaper.
We made out BIG TIME on the Clarkson deal. Dude is gonna be special, I don't know how special, but he'll outperform that contract
