Ah, so your memory is that short. Mozgov had 14 ppg, 7.5 rpg, and 1.5 bpg on 55% shooting in the finals in 28 minutes. If you disregard game 5 where Blatt benched Mozgov to go small (for JR Smith, who went 5-15), those averages climb to 16.8 ppg, 9 rpg, and 1.8 bpg in 33 min on 56% shooting.

You could've put anyone in at center and they probably would've put up the same stats. Lebron was practically the only offensive option. Lakers made a bad signing.

Are the folks banging on the Mozgov contract also banging on the Noah contract?

Mozgov was simply unplayable down the stretch for the Cavs this year. I think they would have liked to play him a little more- but Tristan and Frye were outplaying him big time that it just was a farce to have him on the court. He was legitmiately the Cavs 4th (or 5th) big behind Love, TT, Frye (And James if u count him).

I am not overly surprised he got 16M- but its just such a depressing move...its buying a frying pan for a Christmas gift....a no-upside center that cna guard the rim pretty damn solid, shoot a little, and will drive you insane with how he fumbles with the ball...

Basically this. ^

Ah, the old 'stick in anyone' argument. Always a strong one.

Only 23. Got better every year he's been in the league and avg 15 PPG on 40% from 3 last year. Considering his age not a bad deal imo

I honestly don't know much about him. I'm not arguing with you just so we're clear.

Also, here's this gem:

Edit: This is a live look at the Mavs free agency:
