the Portland Trailblazers have one of the top payrolls in the league and have so much long term money tied up in a pretty shitty team.

Pretty shitty team? How? Pretty shitty teams don't finish top 5 in the Western Conference.

you piukc them to finish top 5 this year?

of course not

only reason they finished top 5 last year is a TON of injuries in that conference that.

Wanna make a bet they dont finish in the top 5 this year? name the terms.

I haven't made any predictions on the West. Point is they're not a terrible team and will be in the playoffs once again this year

Memphis and the Clippers (finished 4th in the conference) were the only teams I'm aware of that hit the massive injury bug. Other teams like the Warriors, Spurs, and Thunder finished relatively healthy. What teams are you referring to exactly?

About time this season started. It's getting awfully quite on these boards. Even the cavs homers have crawled out of their caves and ventured outdoors.

Outdoors seems a bit ambitious for them. More likely that they are upstairs raiding the fridge for grape soda and Hot Pockets. :dhd:

We argued about pretty much everything since the end of the finals. It is the cool down period before the debates/arguments pick up once camps and preseason start in October

LOL

some bitter reporter on his way out the door.

Cavs had the highest payroll in the league last year- will once again have it this year- and next year...in fact- one of the biggest draws LeBron had to Cleveland was the fact that Dan Gilberts wallet was bigger than anyone elses in the NBA ....especially when compared to certain other owners he used to play for....

i have no clue- my guess would be the team worked on Ty Lue's extension- got that done- was working on LeBron James multi year extension - got that done- and now are working on
JR Smith's extension. proooooooooooooobably a little more important and a priority than the end of the coaching bench.

to act like the contracts of the 3rd and 4th and 5th assistant are news worthy is laughable, lol.

Tristan Thompson wasnt signed up until the first ball went in the air practically. It really hurt the Cavs in the long run. LOL.

Show me where I said it hurt the Cavs. I'll patiently wait

Balmer's worth $27 billion to Gilbert's $5 billion. Gilbert doesn't have the deepest pockets, and there's that whole salary cap thing, herpa da do.

Also, this is in relation to the coaching staff, not the roster. Reading is fun.
