After thinking about this.....he's not too far off base. Erving was a phenomenal player and he didn't play during a time when the NBA was watered down with specialists. Not as crazy as I originally thought.

There are a few of the old ABA guys who spent at least part of their prime years in the ABA. It would have been interesting to see what the stats of some guys like Dr. J, Connie Hawkins and George McInnis would have looked like if they had spent their entire careers in the NBA.

btw as much hype as they've TRIED to give the Rams around here I don't think the fans care all that much. feels just like it did imo when they were out here before they took off to St. Lou...

There are enough transplants here for them to make $ imo. I'm no Rams fan but I may go to a game or 2 just to show support for a team in LA.
