So really, the only unexpected loss was McLeod so far. Once Jenkins threw a hissy fit over his initial offer, I wrote him off.

It will be interesting to see if the Rams can find any cheap jems in the coming weeks. Maybe they find another "prove-it" deal or two, like they did with Fairley.

True, will be interesting to see if we can find one or two of those older guys who are hungry to prove themselves again. There are always a few guys out there like that, its just a matter if we can scoop them up...

Don't need to find another "older" vet. Alexander is going do fine.

I didn't necessarily mean for McLeod, I meant an older vet or two to fill any one of the roster spots we still have...Kind of like Fairly last year...

Fairley is still only 28, so I guess it depends on what you mean by older.

Coples is a big dude. Like 6'7, 6'8. Wonder if he has anything left in the tank? Randle is nothing really special. We would do better to select Treadwell.

No big deal. There are plenty of STs players out there and we have a few on the PS that can fill Bates' spot. Some of the media folks go panic mode at the drop of a hat.

Coples is still only 25, listed as 6'5?

Good point!!! But you know how it is, many 28yo NFL players(especially lineman) have bodies so broken down by that point its as if they're much older...
