Yeah the way the intranets read Fitz is Lville. Petrino was always one of the top shitbags in recruiting, I recall he set up Tevine Mitchell's mom with a job at AR just before he committed, I don't suspect he's changed much other than a different school

horrible loss in Fitz... Nebraska really thought they had him and he made a last second flip back to Louisville. Right now Lamar Jackson is the only one I really feel confident about. Simmons could go either way.

We really needed a big body WO in this class too, having the rug pulled out at the dead period when they thought they were good leaves the staff hands tied being able to find a replacement

This is what you leave yourself open to if you refuse to recruit like Harbaugh or Saban... kids screw you over when you think you had em and the class ends up light. Has happened to us for the last 8 years, silly to think it would be different this year.

Our self imposed scholarship reduction over the last 7, and now 8 yrs running is a whole nother encyclopedia worth of rants from me. I keep waiting for a solid winning season, complete without a 70-10 dick stomp at the end, to change that but we're still waiting...and waiting...

Highly rated safeties have had the highest bust rate from what I've seen over the years. Still a nice add, but I won't lose sleep over it if he goes elsewhere.

Can he flip his hips and run as well as the best CB's we have, or is he just a big hitter? Could he grow and convert to LB? What are his KR/PR skills like?

Looks to me like he's just a big, physical SS. Reads and reacts well.

I haven't watched his film but Simmons wants a shot at WR which is what they've said he'll get a shot at whereas the other schools just want him at S

Lamar is being recruited as CB
Simmons is being recruited as a WR

Nebraska, embarrassingly enough, made an offer FINALLY to TE David Engelhaupt... wouldn't be surprised if he flipped to Nebraska from Wyoming on signing day. Would get us up to 21 if Lamar Jackson commits.

By the way, Simmons is now announcing at 5:00pm tomorrow... have no idea here. Best guess is Clemson but who knows.

Recruiting is so weird... Now Beau Bisharat an ATH/LB out of California is rumored as being interested in Nebraska. Just weird.

Louisville had a winning record, and Nebraska had a losing record. Unfortunately it's as simple as that as to why that receiver went to Louisville.
