Oh no, I absolutely agree with you. He's trying to stick with his principles, but they're simply not applicable to this team as constructed. He needs to make adjustments as any good coach would in this situation. If he feels like sticking to the same principles is good for when KD returns to not have to lose anything with continuity, it makes sense. But that's hedging a lot on KD coming back healthy enough to resume his full role. Right now the team needs to find a way for a worst case scenario.
Whoa ... thanks for spelling principles (not 'principals') correctly. My English Major wife would be appalled.
Also -- it is interesting you & Wiggy agree on McCaw -- it is tough for a low drafted player to come in and help a stacked team in the NBA Finals. (it is not that it is impossible -- just almost never happens) He has done a nice job filing in when there are injuries -- he has made the most of his opportunities.
going 0/12 with 2 pts and 1 assist in 42 minutes just might be the worst individual box score in the league this season.
I would give @Mecca the benefit of the doubt that she could go 1/12. lol.
That destroys this fake narrative about Westbrook wildly overachieving with a limited roster.
The reality is that OKC is doing more or less what the betting experts expected of his roster.
interesting--- like you said- obviously an effect of defenses covering the perimeter
thats a weird list--- im looking at the teams- and the Bucks dont surprise me at #1 since their outside shooting is abysmal....
is this modified for pace? Im surprised Houston is so high up that list as well....really no rhyme or reason to it--elite teams and bad teams and mediocre teams
the Cavs are WAY down there which isnt a surprise to me.
@TurnUpTheHeat please tell you were one of the few not entertaining those M-V-P chants for Goran a minute ago?
SPURS really need to get Parker and Murray back.
Having no point guard is killing them again.
The backcourt was thin, but at least it was average with TP and DM.
I am pissed that the spurs passed on a lot of those waiver wire point guards out there.
tonights game reminds me of OKC. There is not a lot Pop can do.
Westbrook and Olapido lit these spurs backup guards up.
Tonight Lillard and McCollum are copying that tactic.
