#2 is wrong. Those 2 are putting up gaudier basic stats, but you wouldn't take either over LeBron, simple fact. He's the MVP and has been 6 years+ running.

What does you not taking them over Lebron have to do with whether or not they are having better seasons?

Of course you wouldn't take them over Lebron, he's the best player in the game. But that doesn't mean he's having the best season. Stats are what the award is mainly based on and Westbrook and Harden are having better seasons statistically.

And Westbrook is on the verge of doing something that has happened only once in league history.

Great sequence from the 4th quarter tonight.

1) Hassan great pressure defense on AD to prevent a pass to Cousins in the post.

2) Look at all the work Johnson does on Cousins in the post to deny him post position.

3) Johnson and Whiteside end this great defensive possession as they both converge on AD to force the shot clock violation.

Not bad for a plodding center. :heh:

It's weird to think I'm enjoying Kings games more now with them focused on a rebuild and playing the young guys than I did when Cousins was on the team and they were on the edge of making the playoffs.

LeBron is having the better season statistically: Real Plus Minus

If you want to make an award for Best Stats, and give the MVP to the actual most VALUABLE player, I'm good with it.

@TurnUpTheHeat please tell you were one of the few not entertaining those M-V-P chants for Goran a minute ago?

I was not.
Very interesting night though.
We were sitting next to Cousins ( and Waiters) financial advisor.
His opinion of the Heat and the way they do things was beyond complimentary.
The total developement of Whiteside certainly isn't going unnoticed.

Skal Labissiere with 29 and 10 in 27 minutes, not bad for a rookie.

Wade may be done for the year. Hopefully he's not.

He said he heard a pop in his elbow tonight

The clippers are so useless

They desperately needed SOME kind of trade yet Doc foolishly stood pat. It didn't have to be Melo or trading Griffin, either. A minor tinker or anything to change their dynamic
