i think there is reason for optimisim as a Browns fan finally- i think this regime has their head on straight- the first in a long time....they sacrificed last season- and now have 8 picks in the top 2 rounds the next 2 years.

they already have one of the best offensive lines in football.....they need a defense and a QB-

im not saying they will win more than 5 games next year- they prob wont- but at least the groundwork is being laid in the right way for the first time since they have been back in '99

I heard they want to give Cody Kessler every opportunity to win the starting job. I love Kessler, but imo, he's a very solid backup, not a starter. I will say though, that if the o-line is as good as you say and they have some talent at the wide receiver positions, he could definitely hold his own until the Browns can get someone better.

He's not going to be winning any games for you, but he won't lose them either. He's the quintessential "game manager." Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

At the rate the Warriors are making themselves unlikeable, if we get a Cavs/Warriors finals, a lot of people are going to be hoping both teams lose.
