It has meant nothing when Durant is playing.
This losing isn't about missing Bogut or the others, its about missing the 2nd best player in the world.
With last years bench, instead of an injured Durant, they'd be favorites to win the finals right now, still.

They're a worse regular season team because in the regular season being deep matters much more than it does in the playoffs. In the playoffs, rotations shrink and you rely on your top guys much more. As I said before this team (once they're healthy) is more capable of winning the title than the team last year. If not for KD/Russ choking in game 6 then they wouldn't have made it to the finals.
How in the great blue hell do you know how they're going to play in the playoffs with this current roster, are you fucking psychic?

I don't know... even without Durant... the Warriors still have an elite roster.

Of course their title chances would take a hit... but if I were a Warriors fan I'd still have reasonable hope of a title even if Durant wasn't coming back.

The struggles to adjust mid-season are of course expected... but the Warriors would still have enough talent as is to compete for the title - even if they wouldn't be the overwhelming favorites like they are now.

Like I said in my previous post, we will find out when KD comes back and they play a solid team in the yoffs, I could be right, you could be right, to speak like you do on the subject, like you're 100% sure and talk down to me because I have a different opinion than you, you sound like Warriors nuthugger.

They are still heavy favorites, this minute, to still win the title.

But then again, you're assuming that team is at 100% health. Say the Warriors had the same exact team as last year and Barnes gets hurt. There's no way that team is a favorite to beat the Cavs this year.

lol, swear to Abe Lincoln, if you didn't have your 3 favorite teams underneath your name and that avatar, I'd think you were from San Fran and wore your Curry jersey 364 days out of the year.

I saw what they did with a hurt Curry/healthy bench last year, it took one of the greatest finals performances in history by LeBron/Kyrie, the greatest comeback in finals history, and Draymond getting suspended for them to lose a game 7 on their home court.

Based on how the Heat have played the Warriors this year, I might agree.

Steph was hurt, but still produced pretty well. If KD comes back at say 80%, are the Warriors still in dire straits?

Heat can't beat James 4/7, but they will make the Cavs fight like hell.
James is used to coasting in round 1, sweeping teams, then getting a weeks rest.
I highly doubt that would be the case if the Heat continues playing/shooting like this.

Remember when they had no 3 point shooters?
Wasn't that long ago.

You have to depend on Waiters...is what it comes down to. He won't make it, he is all in his own head. Waiters has stretches where he is good and long stretches where falls apart. We will see how he handles it.

Dire straits? at 80%? I could see the Spurs taking them down.

People itt seem to forget that a Spurs squad in 2014 beat the more talented team in the Heat because they had an extremely deep bench compared to the 3 superstars of the Heat.
