Yep. At this point, it's about being competitive which shows improvement, but we don't want to be winning too much.
What has become very obvious in games like this is that the Lakers need a closer. They had a great shot at winning last night, but just couldn't get that one more bucket and/or make that one more play to get them over the top.
Hopefully, the kids show enough that a top FA will be interested in coming to LA to be the closer. That, or maybe one of them develops into a closer. Right now, they look like a team that knows how to compete, but not how to win.
The Lakers need a closer, what is this baseball? Anyway if your Lakers need someone to finish games maybe Lance Stephenson will be available this summer? There's no question he knows how to get in LeBron's head & mess his game all up.
