course not. I do hope the Spurs get the 1 seed and the Warriors get the 2 seed and possibly play the Thunder round 1 though- and if Curry/Draymond/Klay have to play more minutes the next 4-6 weeks while Durant is out- i def. wont feel sorry for them.

I want LeBron to own Durant though. If LeBron takes these guys down again it just adds to his legend.

I respect that, if your being truthful.
I always want to see best vs. best.

I haven't read most of what was posted here today, but people need to understand that reevaluated in 4 weeks means just that.
No way to know:
1. If Warriors are being truthful.
2. How the knee responds to treatment.

I think it might be worse then they are saying based on reports of how somber the locker room was, plus the urgency of how fast they reached out to Barnes.


As far as James/Durant.
History will look at W/L.
People years down the road won't be talking or remembering injuries.

I don't want the young guys pushed too much right now and forced into 30+ min a game. I'd be happy with Skal at 20-25min(15 tonight), Buddy/WCS playing 25-30(just under that tonight), and Papa G getting some PT. Vets still need to play, especially Ty and DC because they're the 2 PG's on the team.

Kings lose at home to the Nets who had a 16 game losing streak coming into the game. They're at 25 wins now with 21 games left, I'd be surprised if they reached 30.

20-25 for Skal definitely, I'd be fine if Papa G got 10-15 minutes.

I understand what you're saying. It's kinda like a really great track and field athlete who stumbles and doesn't get the gold medal, but everyone knows they're the best in their event, like the decathlete Dan O'Brien in 1992 (man, I'm starting to feel old). Crazy things happen in sports, and luck (both good and bad) plays a bigger part than most would admit.

The thing is, and I'm being totally honest here, I'm more mad about the KD injury for losing the fun of watching that team play ball than I am about the Finals chances. Partly because he hopefully will be back for the playoffs, but also because I'm genuinely enjoying the product right now no matter how the season ends.

So now, yeah, it'll still be fascinating to see them play minus KD, but I'm mad.
