very good game- hard fought on both sides....

Cavs need to get some continuity and get Jr and Love back. They seemed a little off all game.

If the Cavs have to start Frye and Shumpert in the playoffs they will be in trouble. Having Love and Smith in there instead gives them a boost and conversly gives their bench a boost.

Boston shot 42% from 3 tonight which is really good for them. I thought Korver missed some shots he usually makes.

Crowder is such a tough player- i can see why the Celtics dont want to give up a boatload for George or Butler- even though those guys are obvious upgrades over Crowder- are they so much better to give up so many assets? probably not.

I gotta say- i LOVED the way Deron Williams played. His pick and roll game fits in so well with the Cavs.

I gotta say - im glad JR should be back soon. The Cavs need to get Bogut in here, JR back.

There is just so much inner-season turnover on the team right now. Korver, Deron Williams, Derrick Williams, Bogut- the Jr and Love injuries....

this team needs to get everyone in here and get some practice sessions and get everyone on the same page. Its going to be a challenge to integrate everyone, get everyone comfortable and knowing their roles but there are still about 6 weeks left in the season and JR should be back soon--- everyone but Love should be here soon.

and DAMN....wish Love was in there to take that last corner 3 instead of Williams.

i agree...the guy shoots more free throws than LeBron which is an absolute joke. You cant breath on him without him flailing and getting a call just because of his size...dont worry- you dont get those type of calls- and half court defenses are a lot tighter in the playoffs...

He's not as bad as Harden and Lou Williams. It's both hilarious and infuriating to me that the Rockets now have the two league leaders in drawing bogus foul calls.

that shit doesnt fly in the playoffs nearly as much as it does in the regular season....a lot more of a tendency to let them play in the playoffs- plus all the passing lanes are tighter, half court defenses tighter etc...

Super overrated player, IMO. I have a feeling that his role in this league will be a nice scoring big off the bench, but not much more than that.

def...you wont see a low post big like that with a similar skill set taken that high for a long time i am thinking....if your best attribute is low post scoring- its hard to find a place for you...now THAT was a wasted pick.

I remember at hte time the Lakers were deciding between Russell and Okafor- and they have to be thrilled they took Russell. I think the Sixers would have taken Russell if he was there. Sixers didnt have the balls to take Porzingis and just stayed with the "safe" pick and it was the wrong one.

ill be surprised if its over a 5 game series....Cavs wont have Frye and Shumpert starting for them in the playoffs and combining for 5 points. I dont like Frye against Boston. I actually think Bogut could be a nice asset vs. Boston.

when shumpert starts the celtics can hide thomas on him on the defensive side....when JR is out there they cant hide thomas anywhere.

I do think the Cavs have work to do...

you dont often see a championship caliber team add so many players in-season. All of them have been nice additions- but you need some continuity. Combine that with the Cavs injuries- and they obviously have not had their full team together at all. Kind of worries me a little bit that the Cavs will be going through a tough month where they mean to rest Bron and Kyrie while trying to integrate so many new pieces onto the team.

kinda bummed- the lead is back down to 3...if they would have won this it would have been pretty much 6 since they would ahve owned the tie breaker.

Deron Williams looked really good though. He is a natural fit here with that pick and roll game and his basketball intelligence. He is DEF. gonna play meaningful minutes in the playoffs

course not. I do hope the Spurs get the 1 seed and the Warriors get the 2 seed and possibly play the Thunder round 1 though- and if Curry/Draymond/Klay have to play more minutes the next 4-6 weeks while Durant is out- i def. wont feel sorry for them.

I want LeBron to own Durant though. If LeBron takes these guys down again it just adds to his legend.
