Does anyone think it's possible that George Hill goes back to the Spurs?

If I'm Chris Paul, I'm signing in San Antonio.

He's greedy. So, he won't.

But, Hill or Jrue Holiday?

They might not be interested in paying a chronically broken Holiday.

But, Hill?

:puzzled:

Sure- its possible....

its my own opinion- that if he was dealt to the Celtics, and they owned his Bird Rights - he would resign there since A. it would be more money since they have his Bird Rights and B. it would be a better chance to win.

but we shall see.

I think its all for naught anyway. If i were to ball park it - 2 years from now id say there is a 75% chance he is still in Indiana....but we shall see.

According to Sam Amick, barring a potential title run in Indiana, he is "hellbent" on joining the Lakers. He's from Palmdale, grew up in a family of Lakers fans and Magic apparently is his idol.

I don't know how credible Amick is, I'm sure he's no Woj, but I know Amick isn't the only one saying this. I'm not going to hold my breath though (now until summer of 2018 is a long time) and I'm not sure how "hellbent" he'll be if the Lakers don't look like they're making any progress.

He didn't go anywhere, so it looks like the Pacers will have some decisions to make in the off season. They'll need to either put players around him that can make them a contender, trade him, or gamble and risk losing him for nothing after next season.

End of the day, I'm just glad the Lakers didn't do something stupid like gut their young core to get him. If Jim Buss was still around, that's probably exactly what would have happened (and may explain the timing of the firings).

@trojanfan12 hey congrats on having Paul George as a very viable option. You gotta be thanking your lucky stars Jeanie took action.

now if they can just have some discipline this summer they seem to have a very legit shot at the guy!

Well, they avoided the temptation of gutting the young core to get him. Maybe it's Jim Buss fatigue, but I was very worried that would happen. Now, hopefully they will continue in that vein and not do anything stupid this summer.

So far, I can't complain about what they have done. Getting a 1st rounder for Lou Williams was good. Not sure of the point of Huertas for Ennis. I know the Rockets can waive Huertas to free up cap space and Ennis' contract expires at the end of the season. He's only 22, so maybe they want to see if he can be a good backup PG and will cut him loose if they don't like what they see? :noidea:

Derrick Williams having another really nice game for the Cavs. LeBron's leadership and a winning environment are seeming to have a big effect on him.

Tristan with a very nice game- KYrie kicking ass

Cavs look to be in a good place- rested and ready to go.

this is the very start of when the season really starts to get going- cant wait for the run thats coming up.

Wait a minute.
Are you saying the Cavs are gonna beat the Mighty Knicks?
Next are we gonna learn the earth is really flat?

I actually like the Rockets future. Didn't think they'd rebound this quick from the Dwight era going into D'Antoni as the coach.

And to think there were posters that said they could unseat the Warriors. I lol'd.

Meh it's game. They need a team around them. This will probably be more of a process for Cousins over a longer period of time than most players. Who knows

The Rockets are good. Not saying they will be GS and SA but I really like that team
