They tried to get Lou, got rejected.

He sucks?

You are hating, Dude.

The guy averages 14 ppg.

Yes, it's for a bad Team.

But, he is a good player and they get from under that Nicholson contract.

As for Korver, it's not like the Cavs are giving him up.

So, moot point unless you think they should have chased him before he was traded.

Plus, Dude is older.

The Wiz kids are not contenders.

So, the younger player is the way to go because the Wiz nucleus is youngish.

Its pretty simple.
Makes the Wiz better.
Wiggy would knock ice cream unless it was for Cavs.

I hope you don't trade for George.

1. Because I hate y'all.

2. See Melo trade to Knicks.

Breaking the bank to get him would be a mistake.
he wants to contend for a title.

shit- if i were the Clippers id be looking at him if he really wanted to try and win a title---

sign Blake this offseason and deal him for Paul George in a signa nd trade next offseason! that sounds ideal to me

Paul/PG/DeAndre would be a helluva three-some.

also- Myles Turner looks to be a really good player.

we will see 3 months from now right?

they just gave up a real asset for the right to pay a replacement level guy money in restricted free agency. What does the guy actually do well?

we will bookmark this and see what he has contributed when the Wizards are eventually elminated. Ill guarantee you it wont be worth a real asset like a first rounder. You can do a LOT better with a first round pick then a guy like Bogdon who- like i said- if there is a worse starting SG i nthe league- i cant name him- and if there is a worse starting 3 outside of Rodney McGruder- i cant name him. (it seems he split his starts between those 2 positions).

thats why this is fun though- we shall see a few months from now- if he produces and helps them win a game in the playoffs they would have otherwise lost- ill be the first to say so---

but in the grand scheme of things- why give up a real asset for a guy that really doesnt do anything for you? its just reshuffling deck chairs on a sinking ship.

Gave up what 'real asset'?

Yep.

Time will tell who is correct.

Did you see this?

Not sure why the Celtics aren't more attractive to guys, outside of the weather.

Chris Haynes: Teams mulling Paul George trade apprehensive knowing he wants to win w/Pacers, Plan B is Lakers. He won’t commit longterm outside those two.

a first round pick obviously. In todays NBA with the new CBA having a young player under control for cheap is important.

Or- as trade bait--- the Cavs just got Korver with a worst first rounder that doesnt even transfer till 2019. The Rockets just got Lou Williams who is a helluva lot better AND got off of Brewer's contract for a first rounder.

someone just posted shit that said PJ Tucker and Wilson Chandler- valuable wing defenders- can be had for a first rounder...

and they give up a better first rounder than the Cavs or Rockets did to get Williams and Korver in order to get Bogdon? lol...as i said- this is the type of incompetence that prevents any Eastern team from actually having a shot at the Cavs.

In Bogdanovic, Washington has its new sixth man. In his third season, the flexible 6-8 forward can perform as an inside threat — Beal recalls a few times when Bogdanovic tried to post him up — as well as a player with range. Bogdanovic has started 54 games and averaged 14.2 points on .440 shooting. He has scored at least 20 points 11 times, including 21 in a Feb. 8 matchup against the Wizards.

Afflalo, W. Chandler, PJ Tucker....all out there and avaliable....and they choose Bogdon- who they will have to PAY this summer if they want to keep him. They see Lou Williams slip through their hands

if i was a Wizards fan i would be throwing up right now.

I only know the race of a few posters on this forum and don't want to offend anyone.

But, I'm so sick of the racial stuff.

Magic should have hired a Black GM because he's black?

GTFOH!!!

He should have hired the guy that un-clusters that fuck of a front office.

This is business and times are changing.

You need a guy that can relate and recruit.

This guys client list is top notch.

So, he can obviously sale himself.

I get it, but its prob mid 20s pick.
Wiz have a legit shot for ECF, and if you get there, who knows what can happen?
Sometimes you just have to take a risk.

i think he should have hired a guy with some experience. I dont think Pelinka is a terrible choice- but id be a little worried that the management triumvirate of Jeanie, Magic and Pelinka have combined zero GM experience and zero assistant GM experience.

itll be interesting this summer what approach they take. Lakers have about 22M in cap room. Itll be interesting to see if they want to roll that over to the next season and go after a guy like George--- or if they use it up on a long term deal that would effectively take them out of the George sweepstakes.
