I don't think it could have just been Ingram for Cousins -- and then the Lakers turned it down.

I'm guessing they were close on something (Russell + change) ... but Kings also wanted Ingram and that's where Lakers said no.

If i was the Lakers i would have done that in half a second. Ingram is young- but he has hardly looked like a potential star thus far. they must have wanted quite a bit more.

Just a terrible deal. I see no way the Kings feel good about this deal 3 years from now unless the Pelicans miss the playoffs and that draft pick becomes a top 10 pick which would give them 2 lottery picks.

Pelicans should easily make the playoffs now. When I first saw the breaking news alert, I was thinking wow, I wonder what star players they are getting in return, but then when I read more, I felt really sad for Kings fans.

I know there's no defense in all star games, but tonight was the worse I've ever seen it. The 4th qt is usually when the teams start playing defense, especially in a close game, but tonight they didn't get the memo.
