John Wall is better than Kyrie. He's the 3rd best player in the east this season
ehh.....id take Kyrie over him 10 times out of 10. John Wall is playing great this year- but Kyrie is probably the clutchest player in the NBA while Wall

Clutch player doesn't mean better player. John Wall has been the better all around player this year. Kyrie is obviously a better scorer. I don't think anyone would debate that but there's more to basketball than scoring.

IMO, Wall has been the 2nd best player in the EC this season.
Wiz could EASILY be on a 17 game winning streak.
They had a 1 point loss at Detroit and then of course the Cavs loss where James hit the crazy 3 to tie it.

I highly doubt that if Kyrie was on the Wiz instead of Wall that the results would be near the same.

This. Wall has been unreal this season.

Wall, 22.8ppg (on 45.2%, 31.3%, and 81.6% shooting), 10.6apg, 4.4rpg, 2.1spg, and 0.6bpg

Irving, 24.4ppg (on 46.2%, 38.9%, and 90.6% shooting), 5.9apg, 3.1rpg, 1.2spg, and 0.3bpg.

The only thing Irving is better at it is offense while Wall averages almost DOUBLE the apg.

man....Kyrie is getting closer and closer to the "Nash" 50/40/90......i think he will get there a couple times once he really hits the height of his prime

Yep I would maybe put Kyrie 4th but not sure. IMO my top 5 out east looks like this.

1) LBJ
2) Wall
3) IT
4) Greek Freek
5) DeRozan or Kyrie

ehh....gives the Cavs a 3 game lead instead of 2.5....its okay with me!

I imagine it would be, and I had no dog in the fight, but once again the refs make a call that can directly impact a playoff position for numerous teams.

To make it worse, watch the replay.
If the shot goes in, the same ref is not calling the foul.
He waited.
You can't do shit like that.

He better hope he does it while James is still there, because once he isn't, things won't come near as easy for him.
Pretty much shows whenever he has to play without him, right??

The Pacers ended the 1st half on a 6 game losing streak which now has the Bulls right on their ass for the 6th spot.

Their next 6 after the break are :

Memphis
@Miami
@Houston
@Spurs
@Hawks
@Charlotte

Whoa. Irving went from "unable to win a meaningful game" to "clutchest player in the NBA" pretty quickly. Let's pump the brakes a little.

well as a 19 year old rail thin rookie on a terrible team he shot 46.9%/39.9%/87.2% and his best scoring teammates were Antwan Jamison and Andy Varejao- so i think that pretty much takes a big ole squat and shits on your argument.

They could very well be on the outside looking in after that stretch. I was never a fan or hiring that coach.

is there a guy youd rather have with the ball down 1 with 5 seconds left? I sure wouldnt...or down 2, or with the game tied. He leads the league in overtime scoring since he entered the league.

I think a case could be made for Durant...and maybe even IT with how he has been playing....other than that?

no one is better at hitting that big shot then Kyrie has been since he has entered the league.

I really didn't know that, but I've said he should or could easily be MVP this season.
People talk about Westbrook/Harden, but I think Cavs would prob be 5-8 seed without James vs pretty much lock to make Finals, so whats the difference?

There are probably a dozen guys I'd rather have with the ball.
