In the Finals the year before, Bogut was a 'healthy DNP' for the last 2 games. (and only played 2 minutes in game 4) They benched him after the Cavs went up 2-1.
That's because the small ball lineup was more effective in that series with Kyrie & Love out. But last year they needed his rim protection in that series against a healthy Kyrie & Love.

Well, he did say he wasn't adjusting his game...lol
That's what I thought too- but it appears he actually did adjust his game. He adjusted into not sharing the ball as much. That's a bunch of :bullshit:

Even in the 5 games he played in the Finals last year -- he only averaged 12 minutes / game.

Shooting guard?

He's averaging 9 boards a game in China.

Fucking NINE!!!

Let him start at the 5....lol
Hahahaha does that have anything to do with him being practically 2 feet taller than most of the guys on the court??? :pound:

Yeah.

But, that was in favor of the death lineup.

Thompson is limited, offensively.

So, they didn't need a traditional big.

Again...because the small ball lineup is pretty effective for them with Dray's ability to move to the 5. They do that against bigger teams when Bogut got into foul trouble. But again, not having him at all in the last two games made a difference for them.

Speaking of Klay- is it just me or does it appear as of late he's been shooting way more than anything else? I have noticed there are times when he's taking bad shots instead of making the right basketball play (passing the ball).

I don't think it's more so to speak, but just the same as he's always been. It's just more noticeable with more weapons on the court at any given time.

Ok, maybe I'm just being more critical of him then. It's beginning to feel like HB is back out there at times.....:D

Man, just think of the quality of basketball you could see in a potential finals rematch between the Cavs and the Warriors:

Irving
JR
Korver
Lebron
Love

vs.

Curry
Klay
McCaw
Durant
Draymond

Gonna be great.

Yea, so did Chalmers, by Spalding.

I think Jimmer was with them too.

But, now he's with 361?

Where in the hell do they sell those, Big Lots?

Jimmer now has a shoe deal with 361°, a Chinese company

I'd say this is the broad national consensus right?--- its just such bad luck when you have to move from Cleveland to LA.... :D:noidea:

Midway through his first season on the Lakers, Mozgov is unsurprisingly the starting center for a team operating well below .500, while LeBron and the Cavs are still perched atop the Eastern Conference standings. So, when asked by 60 Seconds More or Less if he missed Cleveland, Mozzy acquiesced.

“To be honest, yeah, I miss that place,” said Mozgov, who scored two points in 15 minutes during a double-digit loss to the Cavaliers last month that marked his first return to Cleveland as a member of the Lakers. “Everything was special. Being their a few days ago … I miss it. I really miss it.”

Lakers fans may get riled by their $64 million center saying he misses his old team, but I’d be more surprised if Mozgov didn’t miss Cleveland. Besides the natural tendency to miss a place where you enjoyed working, there’s the obvious enjoyment of playing for a title contender that’s gone. Whether Mozgov should be doing more for the Lakers or would be making far less on the Cavs has no bearing on the emotions he experienced upon seeing former coworkers at his old place of work.

Damn, didn't realize Super Mario got a shoe deal as well. I guess in today's NBA all you have to be is below average & some shoe company will throw money @ you. Good for him.

Dude, they sell Spaulding at Walgreens.

That shoe deal is probably worth a half used roll of toilet paper.

I saw that the other day...lol

I don't recall ever hearing another Athlete say Ohio> Cali....lol

He didn't say that. But, I can see how you might think it's implied.

If he misses it so much, I'm sure they'll let him out of his deal....lol

Klays numbers are virtually identical to what they were last year

15-16 - fg - 8.1, fga- 17.3, FG% 47%, PPG - 22.1, 3p% 42%, apg - 2.1
16-17 - fg -8.1, fga - 17.3, fg% 47%, ppg - 21.3, 3p% 38%, apg - 2

Steph's numbers are the ones that have regressed, a ton due to KD

15-16 fg - 10.2, fga- 20.2, fg% 50%, ppg - 30.1, 3P% 45%, apg - 6.7
16-17 fg - 8.2, fga - 17.3, fg% 47%, ppg 24.8, 3P% 40%, apg - 5.8
