The East is kinda crazy though- you have toronto and cleveland at the top

then TEN TEAMS that are between 19-15 and 15-19....all within 4 or so games of eachother...even Orlando has played at least decent ball lately...Pacers are 15-18 and tied for 10th inthe East- but like i said- they are a month hot streak from being the freaking 4 seed....its just kinda crazy in the East

you only really have 3 teams that suck in Miami, Sixers and Nets that dont have a chance for the playoffs....

So you wrote all of that just to basically say its Cleveland and Toronto? Cool

Haven't read the link yet. But George Karl seems like the guy that little by little is alienating every single person that he's come across. Can't stand that guy

Watching the Dubs game - it doesn't look like they've learned their lesson. After being up double digits, the lead is once again down to 5 with 3 minutes left. They deserve an L here.

actually i said it more so to illustrate how their are ten teams within 4 games....

but if i am being raelly honest- i enjoyed the part more about how the 3 worst teams in the league are Miami, Philly and Brooklyn ;)

hes trying to sell a book- of course he is saying dumb shit like this to get exactly what he has gotten- a bunch of national run. its not rocket science.

Some people expected a bit more from him.

Yeah and just about all are mediocre teams except Boston who I expect to pull away from those other teams very shortly

i really thought the Pacers would be better than they have been...another dissapointing loss tonight to the Wizards...

Paul George had a great game but he is really not getting much health. Turner doesnt look quite ready and the rest of the guys just dont seem to mesh...

Teague AND Montae Ellis on the same team just doesnt seam like a good idea....trade Ellis for a defensive player....im sure there is a team or two out there that could use Ellis' scoring ability.
If I was Pacers I would start over and trade George. They would be able to land a lot for him. Maybe him to like Philly or Lakers. Do what miami did. Build around Turner.

George is scheduled to be a free agent next summer. I don't think anyone is trading for him unless he makes a commitment to resign with that team.

I don't think the team is that bad. They just hired a bad coach. They would not be that bad if Vogel was still the coach IMO

He's not under a long term contract. He is an unrestricted FA in 2018 so they got 1 more season with him

the CBA they signed makes it increasingly likely he stays....the new CBA just made it a LOT harder to get an elite level free agent.

boo hoo.

True but doesn't mean players won't leave. Just will be less frequent

well considering how little it happens already- for a team to count on that as a strategy going forward seems like it will end in little more than disappointment.

Pretty cool they got that done in the new CBA so teams are more likely to keep their stars- it only affects a very narrow band of players that qualify- but those type of guys are true difference makers...like a Paul George, etc....im sure the Pacers were one of the teams very happy with the new CBA for obvious reasons.

with how RW acts and how he is playing with his own team and all the extra money OKC can offer him- i cant see him leaving either.

The CBA pretty much took that elite level of free agent off the board unless the guy is REALLY REALLY dead-set on leaving- which may occur- maybe a Cousins here or there.

I hope you're right, they've been playing well. It's reality check time tonight though.

I believe they're 12-4 with the starters
When healthy, they're exactly who everyone expected them to be. There is literally no margin for error there though, all the starters have to play.
