Plan for Chandler Parsons: Intense workout tonight, re-evaluate Wednesday. "I hope to play" vs. Pistons on Wednesday, he told ESPN.

what are you talking about?

Pretty clear what I was talking about if you read your quote and my response.

The Bucks would be A LOT better if they had a healthy Middleton. They would be competing for a top 5 seed if he were playing, IMO. If you predicted them to make a jump before his injury, then you were not a year early on your prediction. The injury completely changed the dynamic of the team. If you made your prediction after his injury, then you were underestimating his impact.

The way Giannis and Parker have grown though, the future looks very bright. They are 1-2 rotation guys and a little seasoning away from being one of the best teams in the NBA.

i made the prediction that they would be an up and coming team LAST year- and they kind of fell on their face.....i was saying that my prediction of them showing marked improvement and being one of the better teams in the EAst from last year- surely seems more applicable to this year.

I think that was right on.

They would be there now with Middleton.

In two years, if they keep their core together and are able to add a couple complementary pieces (wing shooter and a big) they could be a Legit challenger for Cleveland.

Giannis has legit potential to be the best player in the East someday in the semi-distant future.

Who is the top five fantasy basketball players?

Depends on format. If you play category style leagues, Westbrook and Harden get downgraded significantly because of TOs, efficiency, and they are not as strong as others in steals and blocks.

Top 5 in 9 cat leagues right now is:

1: Durant
2: Davis
3: Antekoumpo
4: Curry
5: CP3
6: Leonard
7: Butler
8: Harden

22: Westbrook

Sounds crazy, I know, but 5.5 TOs + limited blocks/steals and 42.6% FG shooting on a ton of attempts really hurt his overall value.

These ranks are based on Y! Player rater, they are not anybody's opinion.

Wow....I had no idea keeping Iggy and Shaun was Damn near impossible.

The starters are gonna run everyone out of the gym. But, their depth is gonna be in the can next year.

Makes Looney and Mccaw's growth this Season even more important.

Because Durant would need to be signed with cap space, the large cap holds of both Shaun Livingston ($10.9 million) and Andre Iguodala ($16.7 million) would need to be renounced
. Curry’s $18 million free-agent cap hold will now be replaced with a likely $36 million salary. The remainder of the roster would be filled using the room mid-level exception and minimum players, meaning the total committed salaries for next season will likely be $135 million. Golden State will likely be in the luxury tax with a $21.5 million penalty. A. Under contract Kevin Durant $36,050,000. Stephen Curry $36,050,000. Klay Thompson $17,826,150. Draymond Green $16,400,000.

Yep but if they win this year I have no doubt the owners pay it to keep Shaun & Iggy.

This is the most ridiculous statement. Why would a player of his caliber leave after winning only ONCE when the opportunity to win several is there?

They can't.

Once they renounce them, they have to take the minimum.

I don't see that happening.

Durant would have to take significantly less.

I also don't see that happening.

Why would he leave?

They'd still have 4 top 25 players.

Where else is he gonna get that and still get paid?

I think Daunte Jones & Mccaw will be most important.

I don't think they would have to renounce them both to make it work. Maybe one- Shaun probably. I just think West was smart enough to consider all options on keeping this group together for the next several years when he made the deal to bring KD here & also when they extend Curry.
