West Playoff Match ups are set:

Golden State vs. Portland
San Antonio vs. Memphis
Houston vs. Oklahoma City
LA Clippers vs. Utah

Since Memphis was going to be a playoff team, I'm glad they got matched up with San Antonio. That series should be pretty unwatchable, but that just makes the other 3 playoff series the optimal match up in terms of enjoyment and entertainment.

Right now I just want to make it to Wednesday with a chance. If we go 30-11 and finish the year at 41-41 then I can't be mad. Just bad luck.

No matter what the refs do or don't do... there is no excuse for losing a 26 point lead in the 4th quarter. The fact that the Hawks were in the game at all was the Cavs fault. This game is on them for that reason.

Having said that... I'm not sure I've seen a worse collection of calls that directly extended the game. The refs don't deserve a pass just because the disadvantaged team was in the middle of choking a game away.

There were at least 3 blatantly wrong calls (missing LeBron's TO on the 5-sec call, both Hawks players being out of bounds on the jump ball, & LeBron's phantom 6th foul) that very likely would've changed the outcome of the game. Not to mention a handful of other questionable calls. (foul on Millsap's 3, charge call on Kyrie, no travel call on Bazemore)

Clips/Jazz will be an interesting one. it'll give everyone a chance to see how far that young talent on their roster has come along...

Yeah, I think Memphis can give them a good push too, but I just don't think the games will be entertaining at all.

Agree with your 2nd point as well. I really hope OKC/Houston goes the distance, that should be really entertaining.

But we're most likely going to get a Spurs vs Rockets 2nd round match up.

That's if Memphis doesn't do Memphis things.

Their last 2 games are Warriors and Spurs... so it might come down to how much rest those teams give their players.

Well Pop already said he's not resting anyone. Doubt the Dubs are resting anyone tonight as KD just returned.

I'm guessing the Clips clinch HCA in that series tonight. Clips beat Rockets while Dubs defeat Utah IMO

I agree... kinda unlucky for the Jazz that the Warriors are having to integrate KD. If he'd been healthy this whole time, I doubt they play starters in this game.
