Curry is not a top 5 player in the league, Curry is not a top 5 PG all time, Curry is not a top 25 player of all time.

I shouldn't have to explain why that is

But he is a top 5 player in the league, also if he keeps in up he's one of the best all time at his position

Just say is a can, canned sounds weird and it's making me uncomfortable.

I dunno, canned was a phrase commonly used, but I've never heard them refered to as "a can" LOL. I think you need to check your slang.

Top PG's of all-time

1. Magic
2. Oscar
3. West
4. Isiah
5a. Payton
5b. Stockton
6. Paul
7. Kidd
8. Frazier
9. Curry

I could move Curry up to about 7 though. Just a quick list at this point in his career

Career averages:

Player A - 23.3 pts, 5.7 apg, 4.8 rpg,
Player B - 22.8 pts, 6.8 apg, 4.4 rpg,
Player C - 22.1 pts, 5.7 apg, 5.0 rpg

Only one of those players had "2 Elite years". Career numbers though look pretty close. Yet one of them is canned, and the other is definitely way better and one is a player who you would take over Curry.

Don't even bother lol

I would not put him above Stockton or Payton, Paul possibly but Paul is one of the best defensive PG's of all-time. I could actually move Paul up and Isiah down

Ain't my fault that you can't get your slang right? How does that even make sense? He's A can? And you never questioned that?

So how many point guards have won 2 MVPs and 1 nba title outside of magic johnson. I'll be waiting
i think hes a great player- but hes been a great player for like 3 years and

what he does- he does the best ever probably- shooting---- but hes not a good defensive player---- hes not a guy that can finish above the rim at the basket...

I think hes a top 5 player in the league because what he does he does the best ever-- and its a huge part of the game---- but i couldnt put him near a top 20 conversation until he has more than 3 elite years.

hes not exactly a youngster anymore at 29 years old either.

Chris Paul has been great for a fucking better part of a decade now. 8 All NBA teams, 8 All Defensive teams.....

Steve Nash played forever and was good forever.

I mean- Curry might one day get there--- but the dudes had 3 great seasons at the age of 29 if you include this one.

not yet--- he has to do it for more than 3 years until he starts passing up guys that went were that good for that long......he very well might pass most or all of those guys someday.....but he has a long way to go.

He can't finish at the rim? LOL. Then why is he always one of the top guys at finishing at the rim? He was the top last

thats what you took out of that? all right time to move on

we can come back to this in 5 years--- until then talk of passing guys like NAsh, Paul, Kidd is asinine.

I just responded above^^ he has 4 elite years, he's one of the best finishers at the rim as well.

As of today, I see nothing wrong with this list. Although I'd put Kidd above Paul, but might just be personal preference. Kidd has at least advanced past the second round, and actually went to the finals being the best player on his team, with really a pretty shitty supporting cast.

cmon now.

Look as his numbers starting in 2012-2013, He hasn't been on the All-World level, but he was basically putting up allstar numbers for the past few years.
