@WiggyRuss when Waiters on Cavs :yahoo::wank::nutswing:

@WiggyRuss when Waiters on Heat :finger2::puke::blah:
uhhh i said the exact opposite- that his 2nd year in the league and this year have been practically identical--- the common thread? he was a guy-to-go and got a ton of shots on a crap team.

Thats who Dion Waiters is. I think the guy is talented as hell- and thought he was a good signing for the Heat- but the fact of the matter is if he is not getting his shots he becomes a whiner and a mopper and he starts shooting worse from the field, stops playing D.

when he is getting shots he is fully engaged- but he wants more shots then he will ever deserve on any team that has a real chance at winning anything.

If Dion Waiters is your #1 or your #2 or prob even your #3 guy- and he is getting 14 shots a game- you arent winning anything on a major scale. Hes delusional and doesnt know how to fit into a team without taking it over. A teams ceiling is just about right where the Heat are- scrounging to get a playoff spot at the bottom of the East.

"A teams ceiling is just about right where the Heat are- scrounging to get a playoff spot at the bottom of the East."

He and Dragic didn't play together during the 11-30.
Please tell us what the Heats record is when they have started together.
You have NO IDEA what their ceiling is.
They've been near unbeatable together.

well- you go ahead and give Dion Waiters a bunch of money and a long term deal and see how that turns out. Use all that Bosh money to pay Dion Waiters- or even half of it.

do you think they resign him? 3 years 45?

I think with what we saw last summer, someone will offer more.
Its pretty scary.
I figure he'll get like Tyler money, but his financial guy (obviously biased) says someone will offer a max.

1. What does what he might make have to do with what you said his ceiling was?

2. Where are A.D. and Cousins in your league wide rankings?

McGrady made the HOF. But, Webber didn't?

Am I remembering this incorrectly?

Because, I have it Webber > Tmac.

Both played 15 Seasons.

Both averaged 20 ppg and 4 dimes.

But, Webber added 10 boards to TMac's 6.

Tracy had more All NBA and All Star appearances...

Still got Webber though...

Seems like more grasping at straws. You used the same tired argument against Whiteside and said he'd revert to his old ways when he got a max contract. In his first year he's improved vastly and his work ethic is because of it.

Even if the heat don't pay waiters then someone else will. He has proven to be a solid shooting guard. Getting close to 20 mil from someone this summer

It is just hilarious how Wiggy act like players can't improve/get better after their first or second year in the league.

The irony is he was touting Irving very early in his career.....back when we called him IRving and like he pointed out.....he became one of the better players in the league. It can happen for any player willing to put in the WORK AND TIME it requires to hone his craft.

Even if Waiters go elsewhere, as long as he has a starting job then he will earn a lot of shots. At least half of starting shooting guards in the league avg 12 shots per game or more. As a starting shooting guard in basketball, you will get double digit shot attempts. It is just how it works

Ideally.....I see Waiters as a good #3 option on a really good team.

We have to remember Bazemore just got 18 mil yearly. Waiters is going to get at least that.
I don't think he's getting 20 from anyone other than Brooklyn.

I say 12-15 mil.

But, like you said, look at Bazemore, Turner, Crabbe....etc.

So, I could be wrong.

....especially when you remember Biyombo got paid after a much smaller sample size.

Edit: I take it back. You are more than likely correct.

Waiters > Crabbe who got 18.

Rivers, Crawford, Lin, Courtney Lee got 12 plus.

Waiters getting paid.
