nicely done by tampa. hawks are going to be kicking themselves for all those chances they missed in the 1st period.

Just got back from the bar; What a great series this has been. I hope this goes 7 because that would be a very exciting game.

2-2 are you kidding me?

It drives me nuts when coaches put the 4th line out after a goal (either for or against). Lots of them seem to do it though, you'll recall Carlyle used to do it all the time. I laughed my ass off when Tampa took advantage of it.

Understood. If my team ever made the playoffs, I would curse too.

man, they weren't just chances, they were open nets from straight ahead. the full 6x4 when Bishop seemed to really be on the ropes. He had clear early trouble going right to left, tampas D kept pushing the hawks to the right. Didnt appreciate the flop when Saad got pushed into him, but thats the game they call.

Randy used to put the 4th line out on offensive zone starts. Then when the opponent would obviously win the draw and get the puck back into the Leafs' zone and Bernier/Reimer would make a save and stop play, Randy would put out JVR-Bozak-Kessel on a defensive zone start.

How the hell did anybody consider this guy for a job this summer lol

Part of me thinks that was the last lead the Lightning will have this series.

My gut hasn't been so wrong since the time it convinced me a breakfast burrito from an Exxon Tiger Mart was a good idea.

bishop is clearly injured

But the team really rallied around him. They controlled the slot and got to the rebounds. That was the worst I've seen a winning goalie play in years.

So what are we thinking for Bishop? Is it his hip? Knee? Ankle? Other?

He looks in difficulty getting back up from butterfly, and doesn't have the lateral movement he usually does. That says knee to me. Ligament hyperextension, I'd wager. Hurts like crazy, and gives out at odd times.

But maybe I just think that because I am still in PT for the same injury, and that's the way I move going up and down steps.

it's official after that last scoring play...Hedman is fucking awesome

And Seabrook gave up on him.

God help me, I just love the way that Tampa plays. They just don't quit. Even when they get badly outplayed, they still keep their heads in it. I just wonder if that's more Yzerman's influence or if Cooper is some kind of guru. Or both?
