I wouldn't BS-U about this. It comes down to injuries in the USC game. If Idaho can escape Southern Cal with out too many key injuries I think they beat Wofford at Home the following week. Then New Mexico State on the road in the later half of the season.

And you never know. Maybe ULM will be so beat in their games against Georgia and Alabama that Idaho will pull that one off if they drop one of the other two.

Wasn't your QB just recently charged as a minor in possession of alcohol? Not sure that your QB this season will matter that much though. Doesn't seem like there is a ton of drop off between your first and second string guys and that defense is good enough to keep you in every game. Only issue is that three of your four toughest games are on the road.

But to the point, the Sun Belt is not a good conference. I can see 7 games Idaho should be competitive in. I figure everything goes right they win half, round up and they could reasonably go 4-8. 2-10 might be just as likely though.

Word is Linehan has been hanging out with his daddy and learning from the great Tony Romo. So basically as long as he's behind the best offensive line in the NFL while handing off to an all-pro running back and chucking up half of his TD's to one of the best WR's in the league we'll be just fine. As long as we keep him from holding on extra points that is.

I like Romo. That guy's a hell of a quarterback and I think he's gotten a bit of a bad rap. And I also like the fact that Linehan has been leveraging off Romo, picking his brain. It seems like Romo's been pretty cool in helping show the kid the ropes a bit so to speak. Unlike most Boise fans, I don't take pleasure in seeing Idaho suffer. And it wasn't all that long ago that Idaho was whipping Boise's ass on the regular. Those were my growing up years. And trust me it was more than painful.
