on the radio today i heard how great jarvis looked, then steelers depot is filled with crap on how bad he looked

He had a great start to camp but looked horrible last night. Just an off day for him. I wouldn't read too far into it. "Ebb & flow of camp" as Tomlin always says.

It is funny reading about folks bash the Boykin deal. A conditional 5th round pick is nothing for someone who started in the league. He can only help.

I agree. That's chump change for quality depth. Something that we don't necessarily have at the moment. Yes we have talent, but nothing is proven yet. Except for maybe William Gay. But he is more of a nickel CB that has been playing outside due to inadequacies. Boykin brings that "proven" commodity to the table.
