Seriously, though... rather than bringing up a 3rd catcher. Use Mauer, that way Sano can stay in the lineup and play 1st.

Mauer is never, ever, ever going back to catcher. Just isn't going to happen.

Calling up fryer and 3 pitchers who have sucked ass every time at the MLB level is not a good idea though.

Oh, I know... but I don't see why he couldn't in a pinch. He still warms up pitchers, and catches in practice, though. I just think wasting a roster spot on Fryer would be pointless.

I know you're not a fan of suzuki, but he's had some clutch at bats in the 2nd half. Some timely hits and walks at much needed times.

Ump isn't giving Milone the inside of the plate. Forcing the kid outside. :L

Didn't see the game tonight.

Heard the stupid catwalk screwed us with Sano.

Did Chris Hermann really pinch hit? Wtf.

Milone is so blahhh.

And Torii needs to simply mentor at this point he's just lost.

Good road trip though. Need to kick ass this weekend.

Yeah... things just didn't go our way tonight. That was a bomb by Sano. :L

Milone couldn't adjust to the ump.

Then Suzuki capped it off by letting a pitch go through his legs.

Yeah I saw highlights now.

Buxton with the poor relay and Suzuki with a brutal passed ball

But that Sano "double" is just a load of shit. That rule needs to be fixed, now. If you are going to have a pile of shit stadium let there be some disgression. That ball literally might have went 500 feet.

I could see that. You would think Mauer could at least handle an occasional game at back-stop. Not sure how much experience Sano has at first but I'm sure he could manage.

The Trop sucks! That was a moonshot by Sano that probably would have gone out it not for ricocheting off that silly ass catwalk. BS! :mad2:

Sano has played a couple of games at first.... as I mentioned a few days ago and his gamesmanship. Also, Plouffe could handle 1st as well. I mean, we're talking worst case scenarios, anyway.

He's sneaky fast. Just paid closer attention to that... he was already rounding second as the ball was coming in. This Miguel Sano monster shot was robbed by the catwalk in Tampa

  • The Catwalks
There are four catwalks located above the playing surface at Tropicana Field. They are labeled the "A", "B", "C" and "D" rings with the lowest ring the "D" ring. The "D" ring ranges from 59 feet above the playing surface in CF to 121 feet behind home plate. The "C" ring ranges from 99 feet in CF to 146 behind home plate. The "B" ring ranges from 142 feet in CF to 173 feet behind home plate. And, the "A" ring ranges from 181 feet in CF to 194 feet behind home plate. If a ball strikes the A or the B ring in fair territory, the ball is in play. If a ball strikes the C or the D ring in fair territory it is a home run.

Another bad thing is Buxton and his K's. It's one thing for Sano to K a lot. The guy is among the leaders in pitches seen per AB, walks a ton and hits homers.

Buxton has shown no power and has two sombreros already with many more K's spread in. With that speed....just hit the damn ball and run. Seriously.

I agree, but he is 2nd on the team in pitches per plate appearance (at least according to what was reported a few days ago).

The Trop can suck it. Bulldoze that place to the ground!

The attendance for the ENTIRE series was around 28000 (which would have ranked 72nd for ALL Twins games this year (home and away). :L Even in the Twins' worst years, it was never that bad. :tsk:

Well considering the K's I don't doubt it lol.

Issue is he's got what like 3 walks??
