I am apparently bad luck. Twins won the day before and day after I went to the game but lost when I was there. I promise to stay away from TF the rest of the year.. :dhd:

I know we've hit Sale well this year but getting him Right off the bat is a tough break. Rodon is another tough lefty and I wouldn't be surprised if Samardjia(rest of baseball rocks him but we suck) takes game 3. We need to pitch well.

Bullshit. 5 series with sox and we've gotten a Sale everytime. And this would be the 4th vs the Shark.

Last month of the season. It's been a roller coaster! :suds: Playing meaningful games in September. That's all we asked for.

Duffy cruised through 5 and 2/3 innings. :gaah: Molitor stayed with him 1 batter too many. I understand trying to make the youngster pitch through it, but walking 3 straight and letting a run in? Gotta make the change.

Cotts wasn't even warmed it happened so fast.

Having Cotts start this inning was dumb though.

And Torii is a complete fucking liability. He can't hit worth shit and his defense is atrocious. Like this needs to stop.

Sano lol. When he kinda looks at a cookie....you can't give him a second chance to swing at it.

And Torii walks!! Pinched ran for!!! We've got a shot now.

Wonder if Sano will have enough games to qualify for any awards.

Not to be overlooked, but Escobar is having a great 2nd half.

Wins a win!!!!

Suzuki and Escobar get big knocks frequently recently because they don't swing at everything and try to do too much.

Plouffe and especially Torii should take notes.

Batting average is the only award that requires that. And no, he can't unless the twins score about 50 runs a game for rest of year.

I've heard him mentioned in the ROY talks but I don't think he will have enough time in to earn it. Pretty cool that he is being mentioned though.

He's only 2 homers behind Correa in 20 less games, 4 less doubles, 4 less RBIs, and higher in every statistical category. Barring injury, he should finish with around 75-78 games.

Correa also has him beat in runs and obviously steals too but it is a close call. The difference in amount of time up in the Bigs is definitely something to be considered though. Francisco Lindor makes a good case for himself too as he's been pretty solid for the Tribe. And Roberto Osuna has been pretty impressive stepping in to close for the Blue Jays at the age of 20 years old.

It might come down to opinion as to what someone finds more valuable in terms of production but there is much to debate there and it should be fun to see how it plays out.

Yeah... I think what will eventually hurt Sano, is the DH issue, more than anything else.
