Nice game by Santana, but WTF happened in the 9th? I left mid 8th to mow the lawn.
That was some scary bullpen action right there!
Santana totally kicked ass though!

Duffy cruised through 5 and 2/3 innings. Molitor stayed with him 1 batter too many. I understand trying to make the youngster pitch through it, but walking 3 straight and letting a run in? Gotta make the change.
Wonder if Sano will have enough games to qualify for any awards.

Not to be overlooked, but Escobar is having a great 2nd half.
I've heard him mentioned in the ROY talks but I don't think he will have enough time in to earn it. Pretty cool that he is being mentioned though.
He's only 2 homers behind Correa in 20 less games, 4 less doubles, 4 less RBIs, and higher in every statistical category. Barring injury, he should finish with around 75-78 games.
Correa also has him beat in runs and obviously steals too but it is a close call. The difference in amount of time up in the Bigs is definitely something to be considered though. Francisco Lindor makes a good case for himself too as he's been pretty solid for the Tribe. And Roberto Osuna has been pretty impressive stepping in to close for the Blue Jays at the age of 20 years old.
It might come down to opinion as to what someone finds more valuable in terms of production but there is much to debate there and it should be fun to see how it plays out.
