He's not going to offer Sano any protection, due to his strikeout rate, especially against lefthanders.

Yes he is. He's a run a producer. The best we've had since 2010 to be exact. He's a guy if you make a mistake it goes off the flag pole. Also I'll take a K before another routine DP from Plouffe. That's what you need behind Sano.

Him vs lefties wouldn't matter in this case. He wouldn't protect Sano against a lefty. Plouffe or Torri would. You play match ups.

But baseball is righty dominate. And we ran into situation where Jimenez ate us up with men on base because we didn't have a flexible lineup. Like most games this year.

Which isn't Molly's fault if the pieces are not there.

We've scored over 5 runs 3 times in the last 13 games at least(I don't remember the homestand before the road trip).

2 were in hitter parks Cincy with 1 of them having 6 in 1 inning and a loss. Then the other day vs Baltimore where we were done scoring by the 4th.

Bullpen and offense if we want to finish this push.

Wow. Took the last 3. That rally finally woke the bats up. We faced god awful pitching but thats honestly what you need to do against it.

the only thing I dont like about the train is that if you wanted to do something after the game downtown you cant cause the train leaves 1 half hour after the last out of the 9th inning but other than that it is awesome

Was a great weekend to be a Twins fan. I had about given up on the game Friday night until I walked by the TV and happened to see what was going on in the 9th with Suzuki up, bases loaded and one out. What a thriller! Felt good to take that series from the kitties.


Going into the second half right behind the Royals and first in line for a wildcard spot. Gotta love it!

Just turned 40 last month... not much I care to do downtown after the games anymore.... With the exception of Dream Girls or something along those lines.
