Was a great weekend to be a Twins fan. I had about given up on the game Friday night until I walked by the TV and happened to see what was going on in the 9th with Suzuki up, bases loaded and one out. What a thriller! Felt good to take that series from the kitties.


Going into the second half right behind the Royals and first in line for a wildcard spot. Gotta love it!

Got the "dreaded" West Coast trip with Oak and LA, followed by the Yankees coming to town. Be nice to ride the momentum of last week. Slay some demons!

Looking good for a wild-card. Just gotta keep it up.

Still a lot of games to be played. I'd rather get after KC, than play for the WC. Either way, leaps and bounds better than the past few years.

It IS nice that we get them here mid-season, rather than an early spring series for once. Hopefully things will be different this year.

Meat raffles alway crack me up. Last one I won was at Maxx's just north of Crosstown @ 65 in Ham Lake. The meat was already turning a funky shade of gray.

Maxx's has a pretty decent breakfast menu and bloody mary bar. I know you mentioned your kid lives in Blaine, if you folks are ever looking for a place to go. Couple of golf courses just north of there as well. Viking Meadows and also The Refuge.

yummy !!!!!.. last one we were at was up in nowthen at the northwoods bar . we won 2 ny strips and a slab of salmon ..good thing the cooler was still in my trunk from the night before it still had ice in it

just remember that viking blvd runs east and west and the major roads hwy 47 (st frances blvd ) cr 9 (round lake blvd) hwy 7 and hwy 65 runs north and south and they all cross viking
