I don't understand that decision to use a hitter to bunt sacrifice when the next hitter was 0-16.

Aoki hit a liner that is a hit on most night, and probably a double- Perez was just viciously shifted there. Had Bochy started Ishikawa, the game is tied, and we might be talking about the Royals winning the WS instead right now.

That was complete bullshit. I don't buy into the "fire the manager and everything will be okay" talk, but that turned me right there, especially after the bunt decision. How can you not get the overwhelming sense that this guy wasn't qualified to be in that position? Dude should call Boch and ask for managing lessons.

He really is an albatross- he is saved by what has mostly been a historical bullpen the past couple of years in the backend.
