Why the fuck did they play 3+ minutes of stoppage time of a 15 minute ET period? Makes zero sense. In the first half of ET they only played barely a minute extra if that but in the 2nd 15 they played nearly 4 minutes of ET

I'm not Mexican but I do see the Beautiful Game for what it is. The beauty of the game is the element of human error. There were some missed calls against Mexico as well.

How am I "defending" them? By not blaming the refs in a game that could have been won on the field in regular time (by Costa Rica)?
