I hope people don't sleep on Jaylen Watkins either. We now have two very good prospect at DB with Rowe and Watkins -- both players can play CB and S. Combine that with Jenkins/Maxwell, damn It's nice to finally have some DBs!!

Agree on Watkins, I think he could be a player who steps up this year.

If we keep Kendricks, our defense has a chance to start turning dominate. Our front 7 will be even better than last year with Kiko and another year for the young guys to develop. Cox is a dominant 3-4 end, and now we have some DBs. Throw in an offense with a ton of weapon including a top run attack -- QBs job will be much easier.

You always start a player like this as a CB in the NFL -- it's more of a premium position. If he struggles there, we know he can make the transition to S. That's why it's nice to have versatile players like him and Watkins in the defensive backfield. I think he's the prototypical press-man in our scheme.

With the Bills taking a Corner, it validates the trade up. They could very well have wanted Rowe.

Nothing has to be done for that trade up to be validated. It was a smart trade up regardless of who goes after him. Rowe was a key pick for us in the 2nd round. A guy who fits our defensive scheme, our culture, and has tremendous upside at a big need position - a position that is at a premium in the NFL.
