Well; a berth is a berth - and a new chance.

But I understand the frustration. This SHOULD HAVE BEEN a team that didn't need a Wild Card to get in to the playoffs.

I've come to accept the WC berth for two months now.

Losing 4 straight and still clinching at the end is what's sad. Might be 5 straight

I really want to know what the fuck is going on with Parise. No information just out indefinitely and probably longer than two games. Horseshit.

Herniated disk that he was suffering with (got the cortisone shot before his recent scoring outburst), was re-aggravated last week.

ahh, well.... exciting 3rd period. Too bad they save all their fight until the end. Seems appropriate that they'd come up a quarter of an inch short.


I wish I could say it was a nice season, but them getting into the playoffs was more of Colorado not taking advantage, than the Wild actually earning it.

Don't even know how to address the current roster, or what changes can even be made. Guess we'll wait and see.

Sad end to the season, but - sadly - a hardly unexpected one. I just don't know what this team needs.

dump Poms and Vanek first and foremost. As always we need more scoring. These 2 were brought in to score and both have failed imo. not quite sure what to so with the penalty kill situation though

Ok. Rules for the expansion draft were released a few days ago. Who do we protect, and who do we fear losing?

If Dumba isn't traded by that time it's probably gonna be him.

Nope. Just based on the expansion rules I think it's gonna be him or Zucker and I feel he is more desirable to a new team building itself.

I like dumba but no way we don't protect Scandella or Spurgeon(assuming they are not in a trade either) and seems we love Brodin.

2 forwards and 1 D who play 40 games need to be made available so that Dumba, Zucker and probably a 4th liner
