Point being?
He's had a hall of fame, top 5 all time shooting guard career.
Also has been a big part of 3 championship teams.

You don't think Heat fans know his career is winding down?

Seems like he's Captain Obvious with that statement.

Its definitely close for me- and I understand how Whiteside has the potential to be a force- but a couple things are in my head- first - right now i think the stats say the Heat actually give up less points with Whiteside on the bench then on the floor---- and Valunciunas comes back from his injury- and the Raptors go from playing pretty good ball -to all of a sudden having the longest win streak in the history of their frahcnise.....fairly similar stats with whiteside obviously a little more prolific in points and rebounds, and substantialyl so in blocks- all though- Whiteside is one of the worst passers i have ever seen in my lifetime... Valuncinuas is 3 years younger, and has never been anything except a very hard worker with a good work ethic....i do understand whiteside is raw...i saw that stat- where KLove had the most efficient post scoring, while Whiteside was last among qualifers in the entire NBA- that just shows even if he got that to middle of the pack- which he should be ableto do one would think with that athleticism- he still has room to grow.

its close though.

If you watched Heat games, you'd know we're still a work in progress.
Still tinkering with rotations, etc.
We've learned a couple more things lately.
Amare , for limited minutes, can still be an asset.
Udrih is a legit PG. Nothing flashy, but he can run an offense and doesn't turn the ball over.
He might very well be an overall upgrade from Chalmers.

Told Wiggy that last week and he laughed at me

Cavs are entering a situation where Love has failed all season.
Let's see what he brings to the table in the 4th under this new Cavs offense.

not to belabour the point, but 0.3 assists per game is hilarious to me....so...in any given 3 game stretch- he averages just LESS than 1 assists? per 3 games?? how is that possible? dont you think you would accidentally make a pass to a guy more oftehn that once every 3+ games?

He opened my eyes in the Denver game.
Like Dragic, he understands the needed spacing, etc.
He's legit.

Yep. As I said last week, Rio is the better overall player but Beno is the better true point guard.

It's a terrible stat, obviously.
Hes still learning though, that's the thing, and he should only improve in the categories that he already dominates.

Better get James in now.
These other guys are so lost without the wide open shots he gets for them.

oh no doubt LeBron bears some responsibility- but i know personally- i would give more effort to a good boss, who is competent, even if they were tough, then a guy who was an incompetent shit heel. Isn't that human nature?

Yeah, we certainly shouldn't expect him to give maximum effort for Cavs fans and the $23 million he's being paid or anything.

What happened to James' outside shot?
He may get hot every now and then, but overall , if I'm an opponent, I'm letting/ hoping he shoots anything farther then 15 ft.

Big 3 by JR.
No argument that he's been their best clutch player this year outside of James.

Other than the coaching change, I don't expect it.
I saw regular seasons 3 & 4 here, and pointed it out all the time.

Kevin Love with a stupid foul. Give Indy the last shot to win it now

Difference imo, is that in Miami it was about preserving energy for the playoffs, not because he didn't like the coach.
