Just finished reading this. Reading between the lines... and making a couple dangerous assumptions... it sounds like some players called out LeBron for having different rules when it comes to being held accountable. And that he owned up to it and admitted his faults and they all decided to hold each other accountable equally.

Whether my guess about who was being called out for having a different set of rules is right or not.... sounds like it was a good meeting.

Yeah, there are different rules for star players that are okay. For example, Phil used to allow MJ and later Kobe, to operate outside the triangle offense at times because good things usually happened. That kind of stuff is typically fine with the other players. But when a star isn't held accountable for mistakes like everyone else, it can lead to issues.

I agree with this, which is surprising to me since James was already in that type of situation before.

When it's title of bust, you need all pieces in sync.

well in my own defense Wade had just been sitting out and had made comments to the effect that he couldnt sit out any more games with the way other guys were also sitting out- so resting during an exhibition game- something which he DID last year when he pulled out of the All Star game- didnt exactly seem a big time stretch. lol

anywhoo....

Cavs are looking good again tonight. Tough place to play and win for them...lets hope they can keep it up. This offense is beginning to resemble what I think people really imagined when this team came together.....cant wait until they have some real time with this stuff.

oh no doubt LeBron bears some responsibility- but i know personally- i would give more effort to a good boss, who is competent, even if they were tough, then a guy who was an incompetent shit heel. Isn't that human nature?

the thing that sucks about getting a new car in cleveland ohio?- is that during the winter the salt just EATS away at it....ughhh...wanted to wait one more winter, but it was time- i had to pull the trigger.

So, to remind you that the Heat is bigger than James, I'd like you to sport a nice avi showing our 3 championship rings.

i just think its funny--- if LeBron was still there I would bet a lot of money that Wade would have sat out more games then he did- and LeBron would have had to bear the brunt of it...now Wade actually has to get his ass back in that lineup- and to his credit he did- but i could see how that would start bugging LeBron.

Sounds good- ill start tomorrow!!! i should have made it 8th place!!!! when i looked at it- that seemed al ot more realistic- but i thought it take a shot- and trust me- if the HEat ARE in 8th or 7th...ill still be a rather happy camper as it if i am not mistaken you guys are just 2 games outta the 8 spot right? Its crazy how all those teams are so close besides the Cavs of course- and now the Raptors....Im telling you- if you asked Ujiri if he would rather have Valuncionas or Whiteside- hed take Valunciunas without a second thought. Really good young player with a great work ethic- and now- a VERY reasonable contract at 15 million a year.

If stats was the sole measure of who I would rather have- you would have to take Whiteside- but- when you consider the total picture- I would rather have Valunciunas.

I think a big factor for Wade being so fresh, is a catch 22, he had an extra 60 days off.


As far as Whiteside, who knows?
We're playing our best ball of the year now while he's out.

I think the need for a player like him boils down to price and need.
Someone will offer him a max.
No way Heat will.
