Amazing what being in shape has done for D-Wade.
Fat Wade looked like an old and washed up player constantly injury prone.

This much leaner Wade is showing glimpses of what he once was as an electric player.
The raw stats are not as good, but it just looks like he is getting his stats much easier as a thin guy.

IMO the underrated teams out East so far are Orlando and Boston with the overrated teams being Milwaukee, Washington, and Atlanta

at least he is doing SOMETHING for that 20 million a year

He's an improving work in progress.
Coaches love his work ethic, attitude.
I agree he's looked lost at times, but it is 1/4 of a season working with a brand new group of players/rotations.

How many dozens of times have you pointed out to us that the 'new' Cavs were 19-20 before things started clicking last year?

I'm betting Dragic will be just fine.

Toronto has also been a bit strange to figure.

That was a great game to watch. Great back and forth action all game long

It was awesome.
Pouring rain, nightmare traffic, everyone was late, but it was worth it.
There won't be many, if any, closer, more intense games then that.

It was nice to see Josh finally get aggressive. Need to do that nightly. He can give us 6-8 PPG off the bench playing that way

McRoberts had a good season a few years back....he's still young enough to rebound and be a serviceable rotation player.

No doubt he just became ultra conservative this year for some reason

I understand the Dragic contract- I just wouldnt have done it- especially with Whiteside and Wade's contract situations. I think they are both far more important to the continued success of the team than Dragic. You might still be able to bring back both- but any other flexibiltiy is gone because of Dragic- and its not like you have a really deep roster.

Dragic is not a #1 or #2 or probably even a #3. Neither is Tristan Thompson- but i feel like TT just fits what the Cavs do.

This is what i argued with you about all summe- Dragic wants to push it- and the Heat's personnel is just so not the team to do that with. Deng, Wade, Bosh, Whiteside- these are basically all half court players. Dragic probably played his best game of the season last night - or close to it- 14 and 7 in a win against a very good team...Im surprised his shooting has been so poor- but when you arent getting transition buckets your shooting percentage is of course going to go down. I just didnt think it was a good fit.

My gut, as of today, says Whiteside will be odd man out, and especially if he doesn't figure out the free throws.

I still say Durant is in play.
Ok City will never win.
If Riley gets him in a meeting room this summer I think we have a great chance to sign him.

Wades contract won't be anywhere near a max type moving forward.
That would create KobeII.

Driving home, they interviewed him.
He basically said he will take what the defense is giving him, and that people need to remember that he didn't play last year, so it's still a work in progress.

i do not see Durant tying himself to Wade and Bosh and Dragic AT ALL- especially 2 whole seasons after LeBron moved on because of his concern for their ages. I think it would have been more persuasive to resign Whiteside- let Dragic walk- and try for Durant- but even then I dont see it.

I just think RW/Ibaka is much better, Wall/Beale is much better.

Ibaka is a role player lol. Westbrook is obviously a top 5 offensive player but he's a free agent as well next summer. Wall and Beale is his best option if he's looking for a young tandem.

On paper, Wizards look like prob best option BUT, Bosh signed his deal already, so his contract wont look bad once the new structure kicks in.
I'm not sure why you have Wade penciled in at some long term, high salary deal.
I don't.

Dragic is fine.
Give it some time.

Then, I think Winslow and Tyler are the real deal who both will be here, cheap for the near future.

Never count out the power and pursasion of Riley and South Beach.
Durant is at UM a ton during the summer.
He might even own a house here, I'm not
sure.

He'd look great in purple and gold and the Lakers are used to centers that can't hit free throws.

You know I think Whiteside is a stud, but the guy is weird.
I'm not sure how he's going to handle that 100M, or whatever he gets.
