you act like Miami has pride at all....its a city of old people, illegal immigrants, bums and transients. On HBO they had been playing this documentary quite a bit- about the "Godmother" of cocaine...i forget her name...but it was pretty ridiculous how everyone came to the same conclusion- that the city was built on cocaine. lol....political leaders, cops, professors, etc..... cool place to visit and vacation...to actually LIVE there? YIKES....

Griselda Blanco - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia here it is...Griselda! lol

Not sure what your tastes are, are but I've lived half my life in each of the areas we are talking about.

Living is S.Florida wins by 1,000000 miles.

And, yes, Cleveland wouldn't have many transients because who would choose to go there?

MIAMI has never really pretended to be a great sports town.
HEAT fans understand this......That is just the nature of south florida.

It is a warm attractive cosmopolitan wealthy city that appeals to transplants (domestically and internationallly).

It is not a rugged blue collar cold and dreary city where the local sports team is about the only thing left for civic pride.

it ain't Pittsburgh in other words...

Pacers are legit.

I think I can now safely say what I have been hedging my bets on - Paul George is the 2nd best player in the Eastern Conference.

This may surprise some, but Dragic is holding opponents to 6.7% below their normal shooting percentage. That's top 10 among guards #Heat

Dragic is shooting 42% from the field- when the last 2 seasons he wa at 50%- one of the reasons why i almost understood the K that he got. he HAS to come up from that 23.7% on 3's as well- if he doesnt- you have no chance of winning that bet that the Heat would finish in the top half in shooting percentage in the NBA.

good for Bosh at just over 9 rebounds per game...thats the highest he has had rebounding in quite a while...

Bosh IS shooting a career low 43.5% but some of that can be attributed to taking a career high in threes- over 4 a game. A PER of over 22 is pretty damn good though. I think hes probably an al lstar unless they give his spot to whiteside.

I imagine that the rim protection of Whiteside is helping him Bosh a lot on his rebounding.

In most lineups that Bosh has been in... he's been the one that has had to provide weakside help and rim protection. When you are the weakside help... you are not in a good position to rebound.

Now that Whiteside is the one providing rim protection... Bosh should be more available for boxing out and hitting the glass.

and seriously....i had to listen to all this Heat "depth" they acquired in the offeseason or had coming back

Amare Stoudemire has played 2 games- hes cooked

Chris Anderson has played 3 games- hes cooked

Gerald Green was suspended for being a fool- and is shooting 35% from the floor.

Mario Chalmers was traded away in a salary dump.

Tyler Johnson has played pretty well - and played pretty efficiently in his minutes.

But Bosh's block per game have gone up also.

For someone like Bosh, I normally think that effort is the biggest reason if rebound average go up.

The bench is better but amare should play more and McRoberts less

i agree the bench is better - especially because I think that Johnson is developing into a decent bench player....but going 12 deep or whatever? i dont see it. I really thought Amare was cooked last year when I was watching him with Dallas....but who knows....it is only early December...

I think he played the same way last year. I was an anti-JR guy -- but I've been very impressed with his effort and fitting in on offense since joining the Cavs. (although he could have stepped up more during the Finals)

JR is terrific 3 pointer shooter as long as he takes only good shots.

I think his play is because of Lebron & the culture ... if he tried to make it about JR, he'd be gone and at some point, he'd quit getting more chances.

I can admit this. It was just funny that Wiggy ripped him when he was on the Knicks and accepted him after the trade to Cleveland.

They both can play around 15 minutes and be serviceable rotation players but not sure if that's many mpg to go around?

McRoberts is a very nice passing big man that can stretch the defense with his outside shooting and Amare provides a low post presence who can score 8-9ppg.

Wiggy talking shit about Miami is classic. He always reverts to talking shit about a city when he's lost an argument. Like Cleveland is so great? Watch out.....if he sees it he'll start talking about the great medical centers and the ice cream and symphonies (LTCF told him about that).
