bskballer--- if the Cavs somehow unlikely sweep the TexasTriangle will you give them some credit?

youwere right-that is a positively brutal stretch---- @Dallas, @SAS, @HOU, vs. GSW, @Brooklyn, vs. Clippers, vs. Bulls....

so far- 1-0....can pretty much assume the W vs Brooklyn....other 5 games should be good ones. If they go 3-2 that would be very very solid, 4-1 would be amazing- and if there winning streak is still alive by the end of that stretch- i think we can say that the Cavs are playing the best basketball they have played since coming together

AND JUST FOR THE RECORD

When Love, Kyrie and LeBron play together- they are 42-4. YAH.

They'll probably go 2-1. No way are they beating the Spurs if they played how they did last night. Spurs are the best team in basketball

I will guarantee you the Spurs remember last year in their building too....

Cavs played like crap in the 1st half- but they certainly have a shot if they play as well as they did in the 2nd half when they took down what was at its height a 16 point deficit.

Kyrie is just so freaking clutch. Honestly- there are not 5 guys in the league id rather have shooting a last second shot.

i cant believe he didnt get the AND 1 there.. awful.

It wasn't a foul. If you swipe and miss it is not a foul. Watch the replay three times on DVR. There was no foul. Can't call a foul if a guy swipe and hits air

its OBVIOUS that the defenders body hits LeBron--- and ITS NOT LIKE hes going straight up and had position- hes inside the charge circle anyway. Should have been an easy call. LeBron got hosed on a continuation call just before that as well.

Counting Duncan or ANY of the Spurs out EVER is something you don't wanna do.

One would think that everyone has figured that out by now. The Spurs have been "too old" for about 15 years now.

Houston is playing well right now for the first time all season it looks like- but they are on a back to back as well....the Cavs have been on the road since practically Christmas other than a game or two....I hope they dont wear down these last few- and then the first game back is Golden State- and that first game back is never easy......these next couple games are a really good opportunity for the Cavs to show some mental toughness and grit and continue to extend that lead on the Eastern Conference. It would be beautiful to have like an 8 game lead come April and May and be able to really have time to gear up for the long, arduous post season run.

its gonna happen at some point- and thus far this year - this is the first year where i have seen a substantial drop off in BOTH Parker and Duncan.....doesnt mean a lot right now but its certainly something to keep your eye on.

Cavs have one of the highest payrolls of all time, James, and a hand picked roster.
Also have a pretty easy path through the East.
No credit should be given or is due unless they win the whole thing.

It was a fun game last night.
Cavs earned the win.
Refs missed calls both ways, but that's nothing new.

Yeah, eventually Father Time will get his. He always does. But most gave up writing off the Spurs years ago. Pop is the best there is at getting his team to the playoffs rested and healthy. I used to think that Phil was the best at that, but Pop is a good bit better at it than Phil ever was. Pop has it down to a science.

Refs clearly blew the call when a Mav player hit nothing but ball on that Kyrie call, but as often is the case, they go by what they expect to see vs what really happened.
Mavs had plenty of chances.
Cavs hit the big shots

its OBVIOUS that the defenders body hits LeBron--- and ITS NOT LIKE hes going straight up and had position- hes inside the charge circle anyway. Should have been an easy call. LeBron got hosed on a continuation call just before that as well.

Technically speaking, by the letter of the law, it was a foul on the body. However, that call pretty much never gets made, especially that late in the game. There also wasn't enough contact to effect the shot.

It should have been an easy call just like that clean strip that Williams had that they called a foul in the final 2 minutes. Crying about calls makes no sense unless the game is one sided. We'll see what calls were wrong in the daily report this afternoon.

I guess but as turnup said a Mavs player ( don't remember which one) had a clean strip and they called a foul. Kyrie was awarded 2 fts to tie the game. I was on the phone with my brother who is a Lebron fan and he admitted it was a shit call.

oh yah....the teams goal is to win the title- anything less will be a major disappointment....if they have their roster they hsould be in good shape.

Love, Kyrie, and LeBron are 42-4 when they suit up together according to the reporter talking to LeBron last night.

last years Spurs/Cavs game in San Antonio was the best game of the year in the regular season.....i gotta say- i LOVED when Kyrie shot a 3 right in Leonards face as regulation ended to tie the game....KI doesnt quite look all the way back- but hes getting there.

the Cavs NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED KI vs. the Spurs that is for sure.

oh just so beautiful....all time record for points in that Arena- belongs not to Duncan, or Parker, or Kobe, or Durant etc. etc. etc.---belongs to THE Kyrie Irving.

Didn't see that one. If it was a reach in type play, those nearly always get called, even when there is no contact. Bottom line, the NBA is the hardest of the sports to referee. These guys are so big and so athletic and operate is such a small space, it's an impossible task. That's why I never bitch about them and just hope they make the same calls both ways.
