That's what I'm thinking. The West being weaker than normal this year really helps IMO and also playing teams who are not living up to expectations such as Milwaukee and Washington as well

As far as the Bucks, that was the team Wiggy kept talking up all summer.
To be fair, I'm not going to get on his or anyone else's case for any prediction, because if anyone knew for sure, then it wouldn't be a prediction.

While the Heat isn't a contender right now, the teams currently better then us aren't beating the Cavs anyway.

I think when the Cavs are eventually dethroned in the East, the Heat will be the team that does it.

@ Golden State Jan 11
@ LA Clips Jan 13
@ Denver Nuggets Jan 15
@ OKC Thunder Jan 17
vs. Milwaukee Jan 19
@ Washington Wizards Jan 20
@ Toronto Raptors Jan 22
@ Chicago Bulls Jan 25
@ Brooklyn Nets Jan 26
@ Mulwakee Bucks Jan 29
vs. Atlanta Hawks Jan 31
@ Houston Rockets Feb 2
@ Dallas Mavericks Feb 3
@ Charlotte Hornets Feb 5
vs. LA Clips Feb 7
vs. San Antonio Spurs Feb 9

I see you guys splitting the 2 games with the Clips and Bucks and beating Denver, Washington, Toronto, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas and Charlotte. That would be 10-6. Maybe lose 1 or 2 of those games and go 9-7 or 8-8, 7-9 at worst.

Also, I see the game with the Bulls as a bit of a tossup. If it were in Miami, I'd have the Heat winning it.

I mean I don't think they're going to do great on this stretch. I would probably lean towards 8-8 or 9-7. I stop predicting each game out for the Heat because they're as unpredictable as they come. They can beat anyone or lose to anyone but one thing they don't do is go on long winning streaks or losing streaks. When they left Miami they were 7 games over .500. I'm going to guess that when this stretch is done they'll be between 6-8 games over .500

And to be fair to Miami, as I said on the Heat board most teams wouldn't do better than 10-6 at best in this stretch. 14 out of 16 on the road will always be difficult. The only teams who I think would have no issue with a stretch like this are the Warriors and Spurs IMO

Even they would struggle with it, just not as much as everyone else. Long road trips like that wear a team out. Lakers and Clippers fans see it every year when the Grammy's are in town. I think one of the Texas teams goes through it too with some rodeo or something.

@WiggyRuss I'll accept the bet just because.
The Heat could easily fall below 8, but whatever,
It's an avi bet. No biggie.

Now step up and take the Cavs championship bet.
dude...again. blow me. I will GLADLY take a championship bet when the championship rolls around. If LeBron blew out his achilees tomorrow - its over- if Kyrie blows out his knee it would be EXTREMELY difficult. There is no better example than last year why its INCREDIBLY dumb to take that bet on January 1st.

Its just an avatar bet. Stop being a bitch. You're not giving Turnup money if he wins the bet

Never seen anyone be such a bitch about an avi bet. But then again, it's Wiggy, so I can't exactly say I'm surprised.

Wants to talk all kinds of shit about what he claims the Cavs will do. But won't take a bet because of what might happen.

Yep, those Grammy trips are BRUTAL.

Price you pay for playing in a market that is the entertainment capital.

I think the LA Teams have it worse than anyone when you factor in the fact that their are Concerts at Staples Center 3 or 4 times per week.

It will get even more hectic when hockey season starts.

Speaking of the Bucks, how smart does Jason Kidd look for abandoning that shit show in Brooklyn?

Very but he looks very stupid for giving up Brandon Knight for MCW. Shit has gone downhill since that trade

And...Every and and any single Heat player could also have anything happen in the next month BUT I still bet you because it is only a stupid avi bet.

Plus, if/when they lose and if it is because you feel it is/was injuries chances are you will disappear anyway because after running your yap for 2 years what else could you possibly have to say?
You gonna tell us about next season?

Look, you either have the total faith/belief that this years Cavs teams has was it takes to finally bring that banner to the Q or YOU DON'T.

hey-- if i am not mistaken- i have taken more bets than anyone lately on here- ESPECIALLY you that I have yet to see take a bet- so until you put your money where you mouth is- its a little hypocritical to be criticizing me who has given or taken more bets than ANYONE on this forum lately- PLUS- especially at this point- there is no EFFEN way I let skidmarks goad me into a bet i dont want to make (at this time).

Some confidence you have in your team.

So 6 of the Cavs next 7 games are against the Mavs, Spurs, Rockets, Warriors, Clippers, and Bulls. The Texas teams are on the road while the others are in Cleveland. How many of those games do they lose in your opinion. I'm going to say they go 3-3 as IMO they lose of 2 of 3 to the Texas teams and lose Monday to the Warriors

yah CAvs are right in the middle of a very very road- heavy stretch

starting with Xmas against GOlden State they have had a lot of road games...

@GSW Dec 25
@Portland Dec 26
@Phoenix Dec 28
@Denver Dec 29

vs. Orlando Jan 2
vs. Toronto Jan 4

@ Wash Jan 6
@Minne Jan 8
@Philly Jan 10....

of course they lost those first 2 games--- and then have won 7 straight.

this next stretch...

@Dallas Jan 12
@SAS Jan 14
@Hou Jan 15
vs. GSW Jan 18
@Brooklyn Jan 20
vs. LAC Jan 21
vs. Chicago Jan 23

hmmmmm...those are the 7 games?...just for the record- that home stretch that starts with the clips, and then the bulls also includes minnesota and phoenix and takes us till Jan 27th...

but for those 7 games...hmmmm

They should beat Dallas.....SAS will obviously be a tough one on the road- thats the game last year KI got 57 or whatever....Houston has not been playing very welll........obviously GSW wont be easy...Brooklyn is a given ....Cavs usually beat the Clips- esp at home- and Cavs should beat Chicago at home.

I am thinking they go like 4-3 probably.....anywhere between 3-4 and 5-3 would not surprise me especially since they are CURRENTLY on a 7 game win streak and have opened up a 4 game lead on the rest of the East

Spurs have not yet lost a home game. GSW is obviously a great team....itll be fun to see where the Cavs are at right now with those games. IT looks like Kyrie is starting to get into a rhythm which helps.
