There are a couple CB's I'd take over him right now, but if he plays this year out and progresses, then I would love to grab him as long as the coaching staff feels comfortable with his off the field issues.

Which CBs? Right now I'm high on Williams from FSU and the dude from Michigan State who was better than Dennard last year.

...But it doesn't look like DGB will be playing this year. Maybe for a small school?

I like him too. I thought he was a good safety, but his potential as a RB cannot be ignored. He needs to really work on his juke moves / lateral movement. He runs a little too upright and needs to work on that as well. With coaching and more time to develop in that position could work wonders for this kid:

Karlos Williams - RB - Seminoles

ESPN's Mel Kiper ranks Nebraska senior RB Karlos Williams as his No.2 senior RB.

"Teammate Devonta Freeman was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons, but nobody on the Florida State roster was as impressive on a per-carry basis as Williams last year -- he piled up 8.0 yards per carry and at over 220 pounds, is a great blend of speed and power. The former defensive back could push to be the top back in the 2015 draft," Kiper wrote. The 6-1, 223-pounder had 731 rushing yards on 91 carries and 11 touchdowns in his junior year. The FSU prospect averaged a touchdown every 8.2 times he touched the rock, averaging 8 yards per run. If Williams can get as many carries as Devonta Freeman did last season (173), Williams could rack up 1,387 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns. Williams is a perfect blend of speed and power, and with his workhorse type of ability, he should have a monster season for the Seminoles.

Austin Hill - WR - Wildcats

Tony Pauline reports that during spring meetings Arizona redshirt senior WR Austin Hill "was stamped as a second day pick by scouts."

"I was informed earlier today Austin Hill/WR/Arizona was stamped as a second day pick by scouts during spring meetings," Pauline tweeted. Hill recently returned to regular duty this spring after suffering a torn ACL in the spring of 2013. Before Hill's injury, he led all receivers on the team in 2012 with 1,364 yards and 11 touchdowns. The Arizona prospect was also a Biletnikoff Award Semifinalist and earned All-Pac-12 Second-Team honors. If completely healthy, Hill has a great opportunity to showcase his talents to evaluators this upcoming season.

Beast!!

Sean Hickey - T - Orange

Syracuse senior OT Sean Hickey is a potential 2015 first-round pick, according to NFL.com.

Staff writer Mike Huguenin writes that Hickey "has a chance to be one of the nation's top five offensive tackles this fall." The 6-foot-4, 300-pound Hickey is a ridiculously strong road grader who is also a good athlete for the position. He benches 515 pounds and has completed 41 reps at 225 pounds.

It really depends on so much. I don't like the idea of him sittin this year out. There are a couple CB's I'd take over him right now, but if he plays this year out and progresses, then I would love to grab him as long as the coaching staff feels comfortable with his off the field issues.

This. DGB might be the best overall player in next year's draft, BUT 1.) He's taking a year off 2.) Off field issues 3.) I expect CB to be a higher priority

Ifo Ekpre-Olomu is my favorite CB to come since Patrick Petterson. I might even like Ifo a bit better. The problem is he will most definitely be a top 5 pick unless he has some sort of injury that sets him back. He has an unbelievable instinct to follow through on plays. He gave USC and Oregon St. nightmares.

P.J. Williams is solid. He lacks ideal size that I'd like us to have. He does work pretty well with his hands and I like that. He's one of those guys I will be keeping a close eye on this year.

Trae Waynes is the guy from Michigan State. I like him, but he lacks some of the size and follow through that Ifo has. He reminds me a little bit of Verrett. I liked Verrett better, though.

Speaking of Verrett, Ekpre-Olomu kinda seems like a poor man's Verrett to me. I don't really see him as anything close to a Peterson-like prospect. Similar size & great coverage ability to Verrett, but I'm not sure he has the kind of elite quickness & speed Verrett has.

I'm surprised to see you cite size with PJ Williams when he's listed 2 full inches taller than Ekpre-Olomu . And Waynes, whose size you don't like, is listed at 6'1. All 3 of these guys are willing hitters, but none of 'em are gonna hurt anyone IMO.

If anyone it's Ekpre-Olomu who has size a size deficiency. Of course, it's a year before anyone will have a true gauge of their real size, speed and so on; a lot can happen (injuries, suspensions). I like Ekpre-Olomu a lot, and he might be the best CB in the draft; but I'm not sure he's up to Verrett's level.

Empre-Olomu plays big than he is. I don't expect many to agree with me on him, but I think he's going to be a special talent in the NFL.

Oh I agree. He's a special talent. Excellent in coverage. How special? I'm thinking probably a tiny bit behind Jason Verrett, but we'll see this year.

I'd much prefer a talent like DGB though.

Could you be more specific?

Byron Jones, UConn, is the most complete corner in the draft. He doesn't have a weakness I can pinpoint.

Adrian Amos, PSU, is a wrecking ball. Think D. Dennard, but longer arms, should be taller, and slightly better at playing the ball (This would be his downfall if he isn't successful).

Greg Henderson, Buffs, can do no wrong except that he might be 5'9-5'10. Put up some great numbers at the beginning of the season. IIRC in the first four games of 2013, he had 4 INTs, 2 defensive TDs, and one fumble recovery.

Well that's not a disagreement. I didn't say anything about those guys because I've yet to formulate even a preliminary opinion about them. You may end up being right. But as good as the Oregon CB is (I hate spelling his name), I doubt it I'll agree with you.

P.J. Williams - DB - Seminoles

ESPN's Mel Kiper ranks Florida State junior DB P.J. Williams as the No. 1 underclassmen corner back.

Williams has played both corner and safety for the Seminoles, but he profiles better as a CB in the pros, due in part to his 6-foot, 196-pound frame. "Outstanding instincts," Kiper wrote. "The thing that jumps out to me first about Williams is how quickly he diagnoses and attacks the play in front of him, whether it's a receiver with a ball in his hands after a short catch, or a running back in the flat. Williams can play either corner or safety, but he has carved out an impressive start to his career at corner." Following in the footsteps of Terrence Brooks, Lamarcus Joyner and Xavier Rhodes, Williams should become the next highly-drafted Seminoles' defensive back.

Amari Cooper - WR - Crimson Tide

Alabama junior WR Amari Cooper ranks as Mel Kiper's top underclassmen WR.

"There probably isn't a better receiver in the country at adjusting to a ball in the air and making a contested catch," Kiper wrote. "But Cooper isn't just a down-the-field guy; he's an explosive (and underrated) runner after the catch, and does a good job setting up defenders as well." Cooper must stay healthy this year after hobbling through 2013 and putting up only 43 catches, 736 yards and four touchdowns, but he's arguably the most talented WR in college, a player NFL.com's Bucky Brooks last month called a "prototypical No. 1 receiver" in the NFL. "[Cooper] eats up space as a route runner and is both smooth and explosive in his breaks, with little wasted motion," Kiper wrote. "That lack of wasted motion is part of the reason he so consistently beats people over the top."

Rashad Greene - WR - Seminoles

FSU's Rashad Greene ranks as Mel Kiper's top senior WR.

"Nobody who watched most of FSU's games last year would say Benjamin was the team's best receiver. That was Greene..." Kiper writes. Stanford's Ty Montgomery, Louisville's DeVante Parker, Baylor's Antwan Goodley and UNLV's Devante Davis round out the top five at the position.

Leonard Williams - DL - Trojans

Scouts Inc.'s Kevin Weidl called USC junior DL Leonard Williams a "bad man."

Williams "plays with eyes and stacks/sheds with the best of them," Weidl tweeted. "A lot of violence on his tape." Obtaining backfield vision is a critical trait when evaluating defensive linemen, among other positions, but it is often overlooked. It minimizes wasted movement and allows front seven players to attack the football. Williams has the makings of a top-10 selection.

I was surprised to see him go back to school. Greene has skillz.

Finally seeing my guy Goodley get some love. I have a feeling he's going to be my Donte Moncrief of 2015.
