I think we have number four spot solidly acclaimed.

Really? The Lakers have the same record as utah and boston. Lakers might end up in 6th real easy and are only one game up on Sac for 7th.

They better start tanking harder

Our schedule and out tanking favors us. Thus the prediction.

Yep, 4 straight games vs. OKC and the Spurs gives the Lakers an edge. They just need to make sure there are no more upsets like Sunday!!

Utah has a tough schedule as well. Their next four games are home against the Clippers, @San Antonio, @Houston, and @Memphis.

Utah is 2-1 against the Lakers with one more to play at Salt Lake City.

:L looking at tie breakers for the worst record!

Lakersrule. I am having flashbacks to the mid 70's when I last had this type of discussions about tie breakers for the worst record.

He was never out of it for anyone that actually knows what they're watching when a basketball game is on. I'm not singling you out but just commenting on that sentiment that's popped up. He and Parker have been the top prospects all along. The only thing that's changed is Joel Embiid has thrown his hat into the race. Wiggins is an elite level athlete with tons of potential. Any "no show" games this year likely have more to do with 2 things 1) Kansas (Bill Self) plays conservatively and 2) Wiggins just messing around cuz he knows he's going pro anyway.
Well, for me personally...I had Parker ahead of him because Parker was just far and ahead more polished than Wiggins was the entire year. I never gave up on Wiggins though, because from time to time, he would show flashes of what everyone thought he'd be. As for Bill self, I couldn't agree more. His offense is more about moving the ball, and Wiggins could never really showcase himself that way. He's starting to come into his own with Embiid out however

Yeah, but you still had him up there.I was speaking about some "experts" having Wiggins in the lower half of the Top 10 about a month ago. That's nuts. Makes you wonder what the heck people are watching.

1) Exum
2) Parker
3) Wiggins

I hope somebody jumps on Embiid ahead of us so we can lock down 1 of these guys. If these guys all go 1/2/3 in any particular order - we may be looking at a bust pick.

Now that the Lakers are officially out of the playoffs and have nothing else to play for, they have to tank HARD!!!

Exum, Wiggins, Parker and Embiid are obvious top picks and I won't complain about any of them.

If we're going after Kevin Love in 2015, there's no reason to get a PF so that essentially rules out Julius Randle or Aaron Gordon but in a worst case scenario I wouldn't mind them either.

Exum is probably the pick because he wants to play for the Lakers so badly he is willing to sit out a year. That king of desire with the talent he is bringing, we can't go wrong.

Could you imagine a scenario where Exum decides to sit out a year;
And so we draft either Embiid, Parker, or Wiggins;
Then next year we get Exum and Love?

:yahoo:

Exum (PG), Kobe and Wiggins (2/3), Love (PF), Gasol (C). I'm in la la land now.

Kind of hoping he'll do what Kobe did in '96 and try to force himself on the team via a trade. Then give up a couple of fillers and end up with TWO top 5 picks.

:hope:

The conspiracy theories that will pop up if this happens is reason enough to want to see it happen!!:lol:

That would mean next season the Lakers have to suck even more than than this year.

Kobe won't allow it if he's 100%
