Well if Watkins has caught any NFL passes like Tate has as you said.

Ebron has not dropped any NFL passes like he did in college yet either.

theory is theory no matter how you use it.

Well played sir.

You guys better hope guys like Latimer, Lee and Bryant are off the board when the Lions pick.

I'll take Roby, Van Noy, Desir or Attaochu.

Attaochu is a 1 trick pony.. no thanks for a 2nd rd pick.. when he actually played LB in a traditional 4-3, he sucked balls in coverage and his eyes were shitt diagnosing run plays.. getting after the QB was his thing and he excelled at that... ONLY.. disappeared for 3-4 games with no sacks, TFL's... he's not for me and surely not 2nd rd material

Trustme.. I'm truly a defense first guy.. but now with Ebron and who knows what happens with Raiola if an injury comes about. these two are head and shoulders above all others/ both are graded no lower than 50

You'd rather the Lions draft a backup at Center in the 2nd round? If they are willing to spend a 2nd round pick on a Center, just wait till next year and they can have their pick of whatever Center is available, as only a select few are drafted that high.

If Detroit is in 'win now mode' -- they have to do something with the defense.

Was anybody else pissed when he vikings pick took forever to be made and then the Lions pick was already in when they announced the Vikings pick? I wait all year for this moment and the douchebag NFL/viqueens try to ruin the momoent? Very disappointing.

I hope Bridgewater gets severe hemorrhoids and can't complete a pass in the nFL.

Everyone gets a clean slate with the Lions. I'm sure Mayhew will tell us how Ebron has some of the best hands he has ever seen.

Houston would have taken him with their next pick. They now have to look at Carr or Garropolo.

Alright -- I'm going all in. If the Lions are just going to continue to ignore the defense, while trying to build the unstoppable offense. We may as well trade up to the top of the 2nd round to draft Marquise Lee or Lattimore.

May as well make it fun to watch on offense.

Didn't Houston already draft Carr's brother back in the day, instead of Julius Peppers? I may have my teams mixed up, but I thought it was Houston.

Lee fuckin blows though.

Hear me out. Mayhew loves drafting players who would have been first round picks if not for an injury. Lee is that guy. He won the top WR in college award two years ago, but struggled with a bum knee and his stock dropped.

Mayhew can try to make up for the Broyles pick.:suds:

Yes they did. What other choice do they have? Maybe they can trade for Mallett. They need a QB though.

We should be taking defense with the next pick for sure. Hopefully LB and then trade up into the 2nd to get Jean-Baptiste.

Predicting the 10 biggest busts from the 2014 NFL Draft

6. Anthony Barr

Barr is an unbelievable athlete, which has caused him to rocket up draft boards around the league. Teams are just infatuated with his physical skills. But being a great football player, especially on defense, is about more than just running fast, jumping high and being amazing in the weight room. Barr doesn’t have the instincts or mindset to be dominant.

4. Eric Ebron

NFL teams are all looking to add the next game-changing tight end. They all want to add a Jimmy Graham-type player to their roster. Thus, someone will gamble on Ebron, a raw talent that needs a lot of polish. That’s a big gamble to take in the first half of the first round, which is where Ebron will go. It seems like a big, unnecessary roll of the dice.

Well the Lions tied for the lowest grade given out for all the first round draft picks with a C-. I now feel better about the pick, as CBS seems to wrong about everything.
