Marginally taller, marginally faster version of Ebron who maybe has better hands. We will see. And ebron has a decent weight advantage, no?

There is no maybe about better hands. Ebron dropped over 11% of his balls in college. Evans had some of the best hands in college for WRs.

And I agree -- he is only marginally taller and you can say marginally faster, but when you add to his catch radius a vertical leap that is 6 inches better than Ebron and arms that are 2 inches longer -- It adds up in the end.

Ebron is built more solid at 245 lbs. Evans is only 231.

Then why not Zack Martin at #10? Much better player with even more versatility?

Zack Martin plays center? I wanted Ryan Shazier at 10 and dislike the Ebron pick.

Gandy.. What U think about grabbing Richburg or Martin in 2nd rd at #45 ? There's some reaches going on now, as usual, and I see no way they're there even late 2nd rd for a trade up. The last thing I would want is to lose picks in a trade up for a player that would sit for a year. After those two there isn't much left but maybe UNC Bodine or FSU Stork late 4th. 14 teams need Centers.

Watch Van Noy go now...

Quit mentioning the players we want the Lions to get. Buchanon is off the board now. I don't want to see Van Noy gone too.

NFL caliber starter at any of the five o-line spots.

Yeah the Rams says hi.. They probably should have won two superbowls.. I understand a defense is more important.. But having an elite offense goes a long way as well..

The Lions offense is still FAR from elite. Not even CLOSE.

While I would love one of these guys -- I really hope the Lions use their 2nd round pick on their defense. If they draft offense again, I may drive the 3 miles over to the Lions headquarter in Allen Park and punch Millenhew.

NFC West has got some damn good defenses...and getting better. Which is awesome, Lions play the NFC West the 2015 season with this high profile offense.

Our entire schedule drafted just to stop ColdStafford. They skerred.
