If I understand the tiebreak formulae (and I probably dont), the Remparts can dictate who they play in their next game.

If the Remparts beat Rimouski in the final roundrobin game, they play Kelowna. And Quebec is the home team.

if the Remparts "let" Rimouski win, the three way tiebreaker is a bear, but most likely Kelowna would get second place and go straight to the SF game as the home team. The 2 Q teams would then have to play each other again in a sudden death game to determine who plays Kelowna in the SF.

However, if Rimouski beats Quebec by more than 7 goals, it seems RIM could take second place, leaving QUE and KEL to play the sudden death game.

If I have that right, then the likelihood for shenanigans by the 2 Q teams is not a possible factor. Thank goodness.

Credit where credit is due, Fucale was very solid last night and Quebec eliminates Rimouski with a 5-2 win. The Remparts face Kelowna tonight with the winner to take on Oshawa for the Memorial Cup on Sunday.

Not sure what the arrangements are, but since there was no SCP game last night, I was hoping to see this on the NHL Network. No such luck. But they do have it tape delayed this morning

Stay classy Quebec and I'm sure the NHL will be begging to have you back in no time.

That being said, there were some brutal non-calls. But every team in every league from pee-wee upto the NHL or Olympics has to endure games like that now and then. And when they do, there are always a few classless fans that will do stuff like this, but very rare you see it this bad while play is still going on.

The fiasco in Lethbridge will continue apparently.
