The Burns-on-Morrow hit wasn't that bad, IMO... 2-minute penalty was all it deserved.

Surprisingly enough he won't be considered a repeat offender because his last suspension was more than 18 months ago.

The Burns play was a bad one as well. You can't shove someone in the back in that proximity to the boards. I expect him to get a call as well. It may only be a fine but I expect him to get something.

While I will easily concede that Burns is no angel and I'm also a biased homer, I still disagree about his hit... he shoved Morrow from like 10+ feet and Morrow made NO attempt to play the puck OR brace himself (was looking to draw a penalty and more worried about selling it, IMO)... he barely even hit the boards with the tip of his helmet. /shrug

Weird how that happens with guys like Lapierre.

According to Erik Karlsson Matt Cooke told him he was going to hurt him. Lo and behold he did. It just doesn't seem to be a coincidence with these assholes.

Lapierre needs a lengthy suspension.
