This is a tough one because a) Murray is a big boy and b) Sundstrom looked off-balance prior to the hit. Doesn't sound like Murray will be facing any supplementary discipline.

The only thing which could save him in my mind is that Sundstrom turned at the last second. If the guy's off-balance, you have to recognize that, and realize you can take him down more easily. But I think that's a hit to the shoulder until Sundstrom turned, and likely not nearly as bad a result.

I agree, no discipline here.

Not to go off-topic, but Robert Shaw was one heck of an actor - His portrayal of Doyle Lonnegan in 'The Sting' (one of my favorite movies of all time) was just terrific and as Quint in 'Jaws' was equally excellent. Such a shame that he passed away in 1978 due to a heart attack at age 51.

the whole scene about him talking about the The Indianapolis Speech In Jaws was apparently improvised off a smaller script

that was my utmost favoruite scene of most movies, and everytime Im in a boat at night with my brother we think about that and sing the song.
