I'm glad Arcia is back up again, shouldn't have been down in the first place. I really think they should have kept Hicks up with the Twins though and just gotten rid of Clete Thomas. Thomas has no future with the team and Hicks hasn't been terrible as of late and I'd have like to seen them just let Hicks play out the season in the majors.

Hicks struggled post all star break but I agree he needs to just play. Clete along with many others has no use for this teams rebuilding.

I'd like to see the young guys play.

Going to voice a few thoughts here..

1st, today's game proved the troubles that playing with a 3 man bench can create. I say when Willy returns we go to a 4 man bench. Our bp is great but Duensing kinda sucks. He can go. Thielbar will be the only left but he can make due I believe. Perk is a closer so I didn't count him as a "lefty". Hes pitching without match ups.

Now, onto my nemesis Gardy. The man clearly has lost his mind, but why does he hate florimon?

Wednesday. Runners on 1st and 3rd 1 out(this is after gardy didn't bunt hermann run would have scored already) why the F did he pinch hit Florimon? For Colabello? A RIGHTY vs a RIGHTY. Colabello is slow(Dp) and Strikeout prone(which he did). Flo has some clutch knocks and had a homer in the game. While, he K'ed twice neither situation were..put the ball in play and score situations. Flo has speed and is a lefty(match up and quicker out of box). Gardy???????

Today. Bringing in Hermann makes more sense but still...Also, keep in mind we just pinch ran colabello..1 bench player gone. Now bringing Hermann for Florimon means no more DH!!! Pitcher batting. Next thing you know...bench players are gone too since we only have 3.

Luckily we won 4 innings later. I just think Ron is a utter fool.

But hey hey who can complain about an outing like that?

Maybe finally another good starter to go along with Deduno.

Twins need to unload Morneau as quickly as they can. He is finally showing some power of late, and Twins need to take advantage of that for a team looking for a lefty bat and try and get someone decent for him here before he slumps again.

Carroll headed to Kansas City now. As much as I have liked Morneau, I hope he is the next one packing his bags.

Carroll was a horrible signing, but I wish him well in KC. I wonder what the cash considerations will be? $50

Carroll has been a great guy to have on the team. Hopefully he can find himself winning more games with KC.

Albers doing just as good as his last start. I am very skeptical he will keep this up for an extended period, it seems like a lot of new pitchers can confuse batters until players get some tape on them and figure out tendencies, but hopefully he can stay even close to what he's done so far.

That's what I am basically thinking. He has been very effective with the pitch to contact style but it seems it is usually just a matter of time until hitters catch up to that stuff. For now just enjoy the ride.

I agree, for now all we can do is have fun actually watching a Twins' pitcher doing well and hope he can keep it up. Also, glad you posted the thing about the bullpen prank, I read about it awhile back but never actually got to see video of it.
